Chapter 7: You choose the title

Y/n POV

I woke up the next morning. I'm still getting used to waking up with no phone but I realized something so I hurried to get dressed and head down. We agreed that I would go down to the dining room myself since they showed me around. I ran to where the room was and slowed down before getting to the door. I calmly walked in like I hadn't just ran around the mansion. Today, both Link and Zelda were spacing out. "Hi." I waved getting their attention. "Hi Y/n" Zelda said. "Hi." Link waved. I sat down in my seat. "Umm.... I was wondering how I'm gonna be able to go to school now. I still need an education." I said kinda nervously after a long silence. "I'm sure we can arrange something for you to go back to your world on maybe three days if the week. Exceptions for when there's a day you need to be there or really want to be there. What days do you want to go back?" Zelda asked. "Maybe Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. They're in the middle of the week." I suggested. She nodded. "Today is Thursday. Would you like to go today? It's still fairly early." She asked. I nodded. "Sure. Then I can explain that I'm not going to school on Mondays and Fridays." I said and finished up my food. I then ran to me room since I was wearing clothes of the same style as yesterday's clothes and it might look kinda weird in my world.

I got dressed in f/o and walked out. It was cold so I decided to wear f/s. It was early on a spring morning after all. I headed down and saw Link wearing a school bag but his normal outfit. I tilted my head in confusion.  "Why do you have a school bag?" I asked. "Well, me and Zelda agreed that it would be best if I went to school with you." He explained. "In those clothes? I don't think so. You need to wear clothes normal in my world. I suggest a T-shirt and a pair of pants. You need to look normal. Also, a different hat." I said, giving Link fashion advice. What? People would think he's wearing a costume and he night become a target for bullies. "Okay. I'll go get changed then." He said and went to his room to change into the clothes I suggested. He came back with a green T-shirt on, a pair of black jeans, and a normal green hat. "Now I suggest a sweater or something to keep warm. It's pretty cold out." He nodded. "I knew I'd probably need one so I brought a green hoodie." He said. He came well prepared. "Okay, let's go!" I said as we went to my world.

We got to the school right after the first bell at 8:25 am. We headed up to class and I saw Bff/n and 2Bff/n waiting for me in the class. They both ran up to me and hugged me once they noticed me. The four people mentioned were the only ones in the class (me(you), Link, Bff/n, and 2Bff/n). "Where were you?" "We missed you!" Bff/n and 2Bff/n whined in order. "Sorry! Family issues." I lied. They didn't know I lied though. "And who's that?" 2Bff/n asked while pointing at Link. "That's Link. Umm... His mother just died and he has no father. He's living with my family now. He's my second cousin." I lied again and let out a nervous laugh. They, once again, believed me. I stopped and remembered I should probably tell them about my school schedule. "Umm guys. I'm not coming to school on Mondays or Fridays any more." I said nervously. They looked at me a little sad. "But why?" 2Bff/n whined. "Be cause...." I paused. I don't know what I should say. I pulled Link out of the room. I was told be princess Zelda before we left to not tell about Hyrule but they're my only friends. "Link, is it okay if I tell them? I don't want to lie. They're my only friends from this world. I won't tell then about anything else but that I live in another world. Please?" I begged. Link looked at me, thinking. "You can say that you live in another world but don't tell them the details." He said after a bit of thinking. I smiled brightly. "Thank you!" I said enthusiastically and went back to my friends. People were staring to show up now. More specifically, the bullies. I'm not normally the target but I have a bad feeling. Their old target moved away yesterday. We were told in Monday that she was leaving.

They hadn't entered the class yet so I decided to tell my friends about the other world. "Okay. I'm sorry. I lied about the family thing and about Link. I was gone in another world and Link is from that world." I said simply but apologetically. "Don't lie to us. That's fake." Said Bff/n kinda rudely. "I'm not lying. I have proof!" I said. I then showed them the triforce symbol on my hand. "So you got a tatoo?" Said Bff/n. "No!" I was starting to get annoyed now. "Link, please help me. No one else is watching. Show them the portal thing." I begged. He looked at me then nodded. He opened the portal and Bff/n and 2Bff/n's eyes widened with surprise. "So.....your not lying!?" Ask-yelled 2Bff/n. They tried going though the portal but it didn't work. I tilted my head. "Why doesn't it work?" I asked Link. "Because only Hylians can enter through this portal. You need a better portal for others." He explained. "Ohhhh." I said in understandment. "Hylians?" Both my friends asked at the same time. I nodded. "The place is called Hyrule. The people are called Hylians." I explained. They nodded their head understanding.
