Chapter 8: Normality...

Yuzu was next to have a bath and brush her teeth after Mei had vacated the bathroom, as she allowed herself to soak in the water she knew that they couldn't just suddenly go public about their relationship, she needed to remain subtle and keep up the act she had done for months beforehand. Meanwhile, Mei was getting dressed into her schoolwear when she remembered the lingerie she had in her bag, she quickly pulled it out and tried to find a safe place to hide it so neither Yuzu or Ume would find it if they decided to clean the bedroom. Mei sighed with relief once she had found the perfect spot for it, it was between the headboard of their bed and the wall, It would be silly if someone decided to try and clean back there as the bed wasn't exactly light.

Yuzu entered the room just as Mei was buttoning up her shirt, Yuzu crept up behind Mei and wrapped her arms around her, she gave her an affectionate squeeze before she kissed her cheek.

"Good morning, Mei" Yuzu spoke softly, clearly still very tired, she hadn't enjoyed waking up this early on a weekday.

"Good morning, Yuzu. I uh... I'm sorry for how I was last night, I don't really remember much of it..." Mei admitted as she turned her head to look at Yuzu, Yuzu giggled softly and kissed Mei's lips sweetly before pulling away to get dressed.

"Don't worry about remembering it, just know I loved it, you loved it and it was a new experience in our relationship" Yuzu spoke in a very confident way as she slowly got dressed. Mei had noticed this new confidence she had and couldn't help but feel a bit amused by it, if Yuzu was feeling confident about last night, she would dread to see how confident she would be after a date followed by some form of intimate play. Mei knew she couldn't wait for it, she wanted to see Yuzu's eyes as they wandered her lingerie-clad body.  Yuzu noticed Mei's mind was elsewhere and couldn't help but smile as she applied the finishing touches to her outfit.

"Mei, We should get going. I'd hate to make you late" Yuzu admitted as she headed for the kitchen to grab their lunches that Ume had made the previous night, Mei left the bedroom and was greeted by Yuzu who handed her her meal for lunchtime. Mei placed it into her bag carefully and the duo made their way to the academy, on their way there Himeko and Harumi had joined them on their walk, Harumi could sense some sort of peace between the two, which made her happy. she hated seeing Yuzu so distraught like she had done the previous two days.

once they reached academy grounds, the groups split off into two pairs. Yuzu and Harumi, Mei and Himeko. Yuzu and Harumi made their way to class, the entire time just talking about how their days had been apart from the stuff that had been troubling Yuzu, Harumi was happy to see her friend smiling again, she really did have a sweet smile.

When they entered their class, that is when Yuzu felt the time was dragging on, she worked hard and made sure she wasn't falling behind on her work. Yuzu would often zone out but would snap out quickly and focus on the work at hand. When class was finally dismissed it felt as if she was finally free from an emotional prison, she quickly rushed to the presidents' office to see Mei as she knew Mei wasn't one to go to the cafeteria to eat her food. she knocked the door gently, Mei opened the door a few seconds later, Mei couldn't help but smile softly.

"Are you ok, Yuzu?" Mei asked feeling a bit confused, Yuzu rarely visited her office. Yuzu nodded and asked if she was allowed in, Mei nodded and allowed Yuzu into the room before closing the door behind her. Yuzu walked over to Mei's desk and looked around the room, she had forgotten how cosy the room was.

"I uh... I wanted to know if our one kiss a day agreement was still in place?" Yuzu asked sheepishly with a gentle blush, Mei couldn't believe what she was hearing, was Yuzu really asking such a dumb question?

"Hmm, I guess that all depends on you" Mei approached Yuzu, she didn't lock the door as it was only going to be a quick kiss, Mei has a certain level of confidence in her strut as she neared Yuzu. she began to blush darkly but leant against the dest trying to keep her cool. Mei placed a hand either side of her and smiled faintly before blessing Mei with a sweet loving kiss, Yuzu smiled against Mei's lips, gently resting her hands on Mei's. Mei didn't let Yuzu's lips leave hers until Yuzu had to pull herself away, even though she had felt Mei's lips so many times before, each kiss left her wanting more, she bit her lip gently as she looked at Mei. the way Mei held herself drove Yuzu wild, Yuzu cupped Mei's cheek and leant in for another kiss. as their lips connected, the door opened slowly, Himeko entered the room and caught them mid-kiss.

"I knew it!" Himeko exclaimed before she closed the door so no one else could find out about this, she approached the two. Mei and Yuzu reluctantly and quickly drew apart from each other, Yuzu was blushing badly as was Mei.

"H...how long have you known...?" Mei asked as she tried to regain her composure, Himeko rolled her eyes.

"well, you guys aren't exactly the best at hiding stuff" admitted Himeko "Plus that Matsuri girl told me and Harumi that she had a hunch about you two, once she had pointed out what she had noticed. Harumi and I just waited to see how long it'd take you both to at least admit it to us"

"So... you aren't mad?" asked Yuzu as she noticed how calm Himeko was.

"Weirded out, maybe. but not mad" Himeko shrugged as she admitted, she just wanted her friend to be happy, she had always trusted Mei's judgement.

Mei and Yuzu blushed, would other people find it weird if they found out?
