Epilogue

*** 3 years later ***

I was sitting on the sofa, reading a story to Alexis, I can't believe she is two and half now and getting big which is a surprise cause she was only 5.8 when she was born, she was tiny but she was getting on great. I smiled down at her as she curled into my side, she really was Denny's double.

"Where are my two favourite girls at?" I heard Denny call out as he walked in the front door, coming home from work

"Daddy!" Alexis squealed, jumping off the sofa, running straight to greet Denny, she was such a daddy's girl

"There is my girl." he gushed sweeping her off the ground, hugging her tightly against him "I missed you." he added, kissing her forehead

She giggled, cuddling into him

"I missed you too daddy." She gushed, cuddling into his chest

I smiled up at them, he was an amazing father and an amazing husband. We did get married, six months after Alexis born, our two year anniversary this weekend, it was a small wedding but beautiful. My parents never bothered to show, they haven't even met their own granddaughter but it was there loss, my life was closest to perfect as it could be. Denny had finished college, working with a large Architecture firm, doing very well for himself. I am still studying though, took a year off after Alexis was born but got back to it, mostly online though cause well Denny and I got another surprise a few months back. Denny came over to me, reaching down kissing me

"Hey my love how you feeling?" he asked before coming around, sitting down next to me

"The morning sickness has eased today, thankful for that, doing OK." I smiled

You see I am now pregnant with our second child...four months pregnant to be exact. We had not planned on another baby, not right now anyway but I guess the universe had other ideas but we couldn't be happier about it...Alexis was excited to be a big sister.

"I am glad to hear that. Did you miss sweet cheeks?" he winked, chuckling

"Nah!" I giggled

"Hey!" he pouted at me

"I am only messing with you baby. Of course I missed you, we all did." I smiled widely

"I love you." He whispered kissing me

"Eww!" Alexis said covering her eyes, screwing her face up, the way she always did if she seen us kissing, Denny and I laughing

"Aw I am sorry princess." Denny laughed

"It Ok." She giggled cuddling into him

Denny looked at me, smiling, our little girl was his whole heart and I knew when baby number two comes along he will be the same with he or she. He reached in, rubbing my stomach, making the baby kick like crazy, making me giggle.

"Alexis would you like to go stay with grandma this weekend?" Denny asked her

I looked at him, raising my brow at him, making him chuckle

"Yes! And Auntie April." She said excited "Gonna go play now." She added waddling away to play with her toys in the middle of the living room

I turned my attention back to Denny

"What is happening this weekend?" I asked

"We are celebrating of course. You and I baby, gonna spoil you rottencause you are an awesome wife and that needs to be celebrated especially since you have put up with being married to me for two years." He laughed

"I know, I deserve a gold medal for that." I giggled

"You really do my love. I can't wait to get some alone time with you baby girl." He winked

"You and me both, it has been a while." I added, reaching in kissing him softly

"I am sure we can make up for it. I love you baby girl and I will never be able to tell you in words how much you mean to me, how much our little family means to me. You are all my whole heart and I honestly don't even wanna imagine what my life would be like without you all in. I really am one lucky man." He said, pulling me into him, kissing the top of my head

I smiled as he said those words. Even after us being together for three years he still makes sure he tells me he loves me any chance he gets, still makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in world and I was thankful for every day with him...thankful that I am gonna be able to spent the rest of my life with him. I snuggled close to him

"I love you too with my whole heart Denny." I said

I was looking forward to our future...to our family growing...to our lives together. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Well guys that is this story done, will be sad to have finished it, you never know I may try a sequel later in the future to see how Denny and Riley's lives are going, but not sure about that yet.
