The Nightmare 1

Part 3

Luke's POV:

I'm Luke, I am 14, I was so thankful that Kayla and Chris had untied me, I was stuck in that closet for about a week. The ropes that were tied around my hands had dug into my wrist and made cuts on them and the cloth constantly made me want to throw up.

Chris's POV:

I helped Luke wrap his wrists so he wouldn't get his wounds infected. Pieces of the rope had been left inside his wounds, I bet that was the most painful thing about it, but I helped him clean the rope pieces out of the wrists. Then, Luna came back to the room, I immediately asked her if they were the ones that put Luke in the closet but she said, "No... how long was he in there?" he answered, "a week" I could tell that she was shocked.

Luna's POV:

I was serious about Luke, we didn't kidnap him, we hadn't kidnapped anyone in over a month. Whoever kidnapped Luke and put him in that closet was pretty damn smart, I figured I'd help him escape along with Kayla and Chris, but I knew they couldn't go home, not yet anyway. I began talking to the kids about everything. I told them the truth about not being able to go home.

Chris's POV:

I was pissed off when Luna told us we couldn't go home, but I was relieved because my parents were in Colorado for a couple of weeks, ironically they were on a vacation with Kayla's parents. So we wouldn't get in trouble for not being home.

Kayla's POV:

I was also mad when I found out the truth about Luna. I was also happy that Mom and Dad were out of town.  Which meant I wouldn't get in trouble although I had to watch my little brother Oliver which was only 2 years younger than me. So, I asked Luna if I could at least get him.

Luke's POV:

I was so tired and my wrists felt like a knife had slashed into each of my wrists. I was also very hungry, the last time I had eaten was the morning of the day that I was kidnapped.

Luna's POV:

Kayla asked if she could get her brother so he wouldn't be alone, and I said, "sure". So I took her and Chris to get Kayla's brother.

Kayla's POV:

Me, Chris, Luna, and Luke went to my house to get Oliver, when I got there I dug my house key out of the pocket of my ripped jeans, and unlocked the door, I called for Oliver, but he didn't say anything. So I went to his room and knocked on his door, all I heard was Oliver playing on his Xbox, I opened the door and he had his headphones on so I knew he didn't hear me and wasn't ignoring me.

Oliver's POV:

I'm Oliver, Kayla's 13-year-old brother,  me and Kayla were BFS (best friend siblings) we weren't the kind of siblings that fought all the time, we got along really well. I also got along with her best friends, Chris and Trevor pretty well. When Kayla came into my room I knew something was up. I took off my headphones so I could hear her, she said, "Oliver, I need you to come with us, no time for questions, alright?" I nodded and followed her.

Chris's POV:

Once we got Oliver, Luna said she was gonna take us somewhere I wondered where she was taking us. I asked her and she said, "you'll see". I noticed that she was fidgeting with something in her pocket, she then noticed me looking at her pocket and then pulled out a tiny keychain that had a cool symbol and read "BEST FRIEND!". She then glared at me, as I realized that she had tears falling from her eyes, Kayla then asked her, "Luna... what's wrong?" she said through tears, "My friend, Ruby gave me this... before she went missing... " I then thought for a minute and then asked her, "wait... Ruby... do you mean the Ruby Fletcher" 

Kayla's POV: 

I felt bad. When Chris asked Luna that one question, I immediately punched him in the arm and glared at him.

Luna's POV:

I didn't tell the kids where I was taking them, because I didn't want them to run off, and get hurt. I was taking them to multiple places actually, first I was going to find my sister/friend, Ruby, the truth was, I was actually trying to escape as well, I also discovered something and I wanted answers, and I knew Kayla and Chris were smart kids. The men that had kidnapped them had hacked their identities sadly.. but the worst part, they found out that Kayla was an immortal, so they were probably really pissed that I ran off with them, the truth.. they wanted to get answers out of Kayla, and Chris just happened to be with her, if they didn't cooperate, the men were going to torture them until they talked.
