Chapter 12

Rikers POV

Rydel was looking more nervous then usual when she was walking towards me. "What's up little sis?" "Can I talk to you in private?" she said looking around at the surroundings. I nodded and she grabbed my hand. Once we are in the room with no people she sighed. "Riker, you know that I'm already having one baby, right?" I nodded not knowing were she was going. "Well when I went for my ultrasound it said I was gonna have another." she whispered the last part. I gasped, twins? "Guys it's show time." My dad yelled from behind the door. "Have you told anyone else." I asked getting up from my seat. "Just you and Laura. I'm too scared to tell, you know who." She continued as we walked out the door. "Ellington" I mouthed. She nodded "Why?" "I'm scared." She finished and took her spot next to mom.

Ratliffs POV

I was going to see where Rydel and Riker went because it was time for us to go on stage. So I found them in a room talking but I found something interesting in the conversation they were having. I listened when Rydel was talking about our baby but then I heard she's having twins. She hasn't even told me but she told Riker. I felt tears in my eyes but ignored it because I was angry she didn't even tell me. I guess she was ignoring me too because I didn't get a good luck kiss. I banged my drums so hard tonight just to release my anger. But I accidentally smashed the drumstick so hard I hit my eye. I heard a loud gasp and turned around and saw Rydel crouching there with a bandaid. "No!" I yelled and continued to smash the drums.

She rolled her eyes and left but leaving the bandaid sitting on the floor. In between Cali Girls and Here Comes Forever I picked the bandaid up and put it on my cheek. I mean I feel bad that she tried to help. After the show I got my stuff, rushed out without looking at Rydel. "Wait Ellington! I have a gift for you." "I don't want it!" I kept walking until I felt something hit my back and fall to the ground. I turned around and saw Rydel running as fast as she could away and the present she wanted to give me opened. I gasped there lay on the ground the ultrasound where my babies were. How could I be so mad at their mother? My best friend. I ran back into the venue to try and find her.

I looked for awhile then I found her but she wasn't alone, she had her whole family sitting there almost like they were waiting for me. The second she saw me she curled into Rikers side. "Rydel." I whispered walking to her. "Explain it to me Ellington! Why were you ignoring my help and my gift to you?" she whispered. I shook my head. "I was stupid Dell, I over heard you talking to Riker saying we are having twins and you never told me. But I knew you were, but I was frustrated. Why did you tell everyone else but me?" "I was scared." She whispered again. "Why?" I said then looked at everyone nodding agreeing with me. "You were so happy for one, I didn't want you to be upset." "Oh Rydel" I said and pulled her into a hug. "I'm beyond happy right now!" I mumbled into her hair, she pulled into a tighter hug.

By the next day everything was normal again, but we were on the bus heading to Cologne, Belgium for our show tomorrow. Rydel and I spent the last couple of hours alone obsessing over the ultrasound. "When do you know what the genders are?" I eagerly asked. "In 4 months!" she squealed. "Guys we're here! Let's gooooo!" Rocky yelled from the front. Rydel stood up and fixed her skirt, I grabbed her hand and twirled her around. She giggled her very famous giggle.

Rydels POV

The morning after the Cologne show I started my first morning of the morning sickness. Luckily it was early and nobody was up. That also meant I was sleepy, so the next thing I knew Ellington was waking me up. "Rydel why are you on the floor of the bathroom??" he asked whilst laughing. "Morning sickness." I whispered. "Oh Rydel! Why didn't you wake me up? Come on." He asked picking me up. I shrugged "I didn't want you to worry." He put me on the bed and told me "We have 3 more hours till call time, get back to sleep!" I didn't even hear him tell me the rest I blacked out into my sleepiness state.
