Chapter 5

They walked for about 30 minutes now and Karin get exhausted. She hated this forest right now. There was no suitable place to stay yet. Its dark but thanks to the moonlight.

Karin's pace was getting slow. Sasuke noticed it and stopped. " You okay, Karin?" Sasuke asked concernly.

"I'm fine, just a little...exhausted" Karin answered weakly.

Sasuke knew she was tired walking but he really needed to continue to find the suitable and safe place. Sasuke waited for Karin and took her right hand.

Karin widened her eyes a little but she let him anyway. She knew Sasuke just want to help her.

Finally, they found a place with a small river beside a clear field with grass. " We'll stay here.." Sasuke said and let go off his hand. " I'm gonna use my tent..no need to use yours if you have.." He took his scroll and said 'kai' .The tent appeared. "Its late..come on" Sasuke looked at Karin who froze in her place. " Karin..don't waste my time. Okay, if you don't want to share - "

"Uh ..okay fine" Karin finally said. Honestly, she was embarrassed. 'Why Sasuke act like this so suddenly ? Oh forget it ..'

Sasuke let Karin go in first.

Karin was comfortable in the tent, there was a pillow and one big blanket. She laid on the left side. That was Sasuke's , she didn't want to use that was belong to him.

Sasuke also went in the tent and zipped it. It was big enough for two person in it. He put his katana on his side. He saw Karin was laid far from him. He knew she was embarrassed. "Karin" he called.

"Hmm? " Karin hummed.

"Don't you want a blanket and pillow ?" Sasuke asked. " Its not good for you to sleep like that" He stated flatly. " Here" He placed the pillow and blanket beside him.

" Emm..that's yours" Karin said shyly.

" You need it " Sasuke laid and used his left hand as a pillow. Karin felt bad . There's no way she's going to let him sleep like while this tent was belong to him.

She pulled Sasuke's cloak to called him. Karin placed the pillow between them and pointed at the pillow. Sasuke furrowed his eyebrows. " What?" he asked, confused by Karin's manner.

"Err..ano..lets share " Karin said and scratched her cheek in embarrassment. "Or you're going to cramped your left hand doing that" Karin continued referring to his hand that he used as a pillow.

Sasuke did as she said and pulled the blanket, closing his eyes.

'He's tired' Karin guessed and slowly pulled the blanket on her belly level. She laid beside Sasuke. Their head and body nearly touching- already touching. Karin stared the tent for a while and drifted to sleep. The place was a bit cold, silent and calm. It made her easier to sleep not like her previous days.

When she slept, Sasuke opened his onyx eyes and stared at her. He didn't know why he suddenly cared so much to Karin but seeing her in the other way, warmth his heart.

He pulled the blanket to her chest level and smiled. 'Good night , Karin'

Karin woke up first in the morning and took her bag beside Sasuke. She slowly took it afraid that she might wake Sasuke up. "I'm hungryy.." Karin took her scroll and made a handseal. She said a low 'kai' and two bowls appeared. One was okonomiyaki and the second was ramen.
