Chapter 18

In the dim light of the night, Karin and Shurui was facing each other. Glaring as the eyes could cut whatever they see.

Once again, Shurui makes the move to attack first.

Karin quickly made handseals and kanji spread from her body to the ground making Shurui widened her eyes and move backward.

"That's legend technique" 'This jutsu will send the person to ash if caught' Shurui stated with a bit of expression that says how would Karin knew and learn that jutsu. "How can you do this jutsu?" She asked.

Karin smirked. "Does that bother you?"

Shurui looked annoyed. "Hn..don't get too hyper. I just started to play." She said clasping her hands together.

Karin was ready to defend in case.

This time Shurui used larva.

The larva jutsu came around Shurui like a root and was aiming at Karin.

The redhead jump and keep on avoiding the larva and the place was in mess. She then jumped and swirl as she avoid while making another handseals.

Karin spread her hands and kanji came out. It wrap around Shurui's jutsu and its stop.

Shurui no longer can control her jutsu.

Karin take the advantage to attack on Shurui. It was blinding as she let out 5 chakra chains from her back and aiming at Shurui.

But Shurui was quick as she dodge it with her laser. Half of the chakra chains was cut and melt but Karin can still makes the chains longer.

"Bakaa!!" Karin yelled as she slam the chains again at Shurui.

Shurui smirked as she avoid the attack.

Karin didn't give up. She jump towards Shurui and sharpened her chains.

Shurui dodge the chains whenever it come near her.

Karin was panting heavily and sweat was dripping on the side of her face. Chains has retreated to her back.

Shurui laughed as she walked towards Karin who was now kneeling at the rocky ground.

"How could you be so confident to beat me ? And I have not yet started the real fight." Shurui mocked her.

Karin doesn't care to what she said and was focusing on her plan.

"Then why don't you use your best and kill me?" Karin said.

Shurui looked down at her as she get near. "Its not that I don't want to use it...its just because you are too weak to receive it."

Karin was annoyed by the statement though it was the truth.

But still...

"Do you feel shy to let your power out?"

Shurui almost crack a knuckles."Don't test me...you'll regret it."

Karin wanted to increase her anger more.

"I won't recognize your power if you don't want to use it against me. " Karin added. She knew Shurui would be a lot offended.

Shurui become more annoyed. "You'll see." She hissed.

"I'll let you kill me, but...your master will be upset since he need my chakra." Karin added and slowly regaining her chakra back.

Shurui didn't say anything more but chakra laser was coming from her palms.

Karin made a barrier using her chakra chains. The impact was strong and some cut through Karins skin.
