Chapter 13

Sasuke and Naruto froze. They were too shocked to move. Both mouth agape.

They were more shocked when a flash of gold colour shot in front of them. There were a chain dig into the stone so it won't loose.

"What is this?" The raven man asked.

"A chain?!" Naruto surprised.

They can see Karin slowly climbing using the chain that came from her left palm.

"Karin!"

"Imoto-chann!" Naruto screamed excitedly. Super relieved to be honest.

Karin was struggling to climb up. She felt hurt on her waist. A lot of bruises on her knees. "Sasuke..Naruto-niisan" She called weakly. Her eyes without glasses became blurry and hurt because of the hard rain drops. But, she closed her eyes so the contact lens won't fall or anything that disturb her eyes.

The chain began to loose when the stone around it cracked.

Sasuke noticed it. " Naruto.. grab her!" He yelled, panicked.

Without asking, Naruto let out his Kyuubi's hand and grabbed Karin immediately.

The three of them was panting in the middle of the woods. Its getting dark and the rain still didn't stop.

Karin fell from Naruto's hold and whimpered.

"You okay?" Her newly brother asked with concern in his voice.

Sasuke was looking around for a shelter.

"Daijoubu.." She said with a low voice. She felt hurt because her stomach has bumped on a stone earlier but hide it. She closed her eyes and hold her belly, try to sense for her baby. She ignored the sting on her knees for a while. A few moment later, she let out a relieved breath. 'Arigatou Kami-sama.. my baby's safe..arigatou!'

"Imoto-chan.." The blonde looking at her bruises.

Karin smiled." Don't worry.. Its nothing...I can heal it" She then focused her healing chakra.

Sasuke who was been quiet went behind a tree not far from them.

Bukk!

He punch the tree branch beside him to let out his anger. Anger to himself.

The leaves fell down on the ground. He closed her eyes and gritted his teeth. 'I...I .. cannot save Karin just now..I stood there like a dumb stupid idiot person. What if Karin didn't have the chain..and and ..' He trailed off. He can't say the word.

He suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. He saw Naruto with a expression he cannot understand. " Naruto.."

"Hm..what happened to you Sasuke?" Naruto asked,  concerned. "You even cried.."

Sasuke looked away. This was the second time he cried. " I couldn't save her.. how can I be like that?"

Naruto sighed. "So do I.." He turned Sasuke around. " Sometime we're too shocked to move..but you see, my sister made it."

Sasuke pulled his shirt angrily. " How can you say that easily?!" He glared at his rival, best friend and he called brother.

Naruto remain calm. "You don't understand Sasuke. I just realized someone has been testing us."
