It's not what I feel for you but what I do not feel for anyone but you.

Sonakshi's Clinic

Sona looked at the  wall clock again, already 6.30 evening and she still had a pile of patients to get through. "Why do I feel as if you are my drug and every ten hours I go into withdrawal symptoms without my fix of you. Oh shut up Sona, you are turning into a  Dev junkie. Of all the people, you are a nutritionist. Akal kahan hai? " she scolded herself. She determinedly put the thought of missing Soha and Dev out of her mind. She didn't notice her mobile blinking .

It was in the middle of the last appointment , that the door to her clinic swung open to admit Dev. He immediately gestured to her to carry on and quietly lowered his tall frame into the sectional sofa and attempted to flick through the medical journal kept on the coffee table. An involuntary smile curved Sonakshi's lips as her glance kept straying back to him, till she found that he gave up the attempt to read something and stretched himself, hands linked behind his head, watching her frankly, with a mischievous look . He lifted an eyebrow knowingly, as he caught her looking at him again, nodding at her as if he knew what was going on in her head. She flushed and looked away, brought on her serious expression and forced herself to deal with the matter at hand. The appointment clerk popped in to tell her that there were no more appointments and with a sigh of relief she straightened herself and walked to the sofa, to Mr Dev Dixit, stretched out languidly, appraising her up and down, smiling at his own private jokes, which no doubt he would be dying to tell her to embarrass her as much as he could.

Dev: " Pehle admit karo ki tum meri wajah se distract ho rahi thi." (T-First admit that you were getting distracted because of me)

Sonakshi, of course did not need to confirm that for him, they both knew how hard she found to ignore him anywhere. But she wasn't about to lose her composure for Mr Over-confident Dixit, when she herself knew his Achilles heel. She came up to him, glancing to make sure that the door was closed and bending down smoothed back the errant lock of hair which always kept falling over his forehead. She allowed her fingers to trail in a light touch over the curve of his ear, down the sensitive lobe and across his cheek to slowly trace the curve of his bottom lip. He involuntarily inhaled and his eyes closed while a visible frisson of excitement went through his body at this sensory onslaught and anticipation.

Sona: "Aap kuch kah rahe the distractions ke bare mein?" ( T- Were you saying something about distractions?) she asked mock- innocently, her eyes alight with pleasure at his reaction. He reluctantly opened his eyes at the sound of her laughter.

Dev: "Fraud ! Main toh tumhe sirf dekh raha tha aur tumhara concentration gayab ho gaya. (T-Fraud! I only looked at you and you got distracted.)

Sona with even more mock- innocent tone: " Theek hai, aaj se main bhi sirf dekhoongi, no touching, no seducing. okay?" Her eyes danced in mischief. " Par aap yahan kyun hai? " (T- All right from today I will only look at you, no touching, no seduction, right? )

Dev: " Aaj main jaldi aa gaya aur six o' clock se tumhara aur Soha ka intezaar kar raha tha. Phir mujhe darr laga ki kahin tum wapis naa aayi toh. Toh maine socha ki tum jahan bhi hogi tumhe manaa kar le kar aaoonga. Raaste mein tumhari Maa se baat hui toh unhe bata diya ki tumko lekar Soha ko pick up kar loonga. Bas yahan aa gaya." (T- I came back early from work and waitedfor you and Soha to come home. Then I got scared that you might not be coming to me at all. So I thought I will go and convince you to come back with me. I spoke to your mother and told her we will pick up Soha later. And so here I am to ask you home)
