Sam's POV:
Tomorrow is the first day of school. When Ash and I got our schedules I noticed that we have all the same classes again. We decided to go shopping for school supplies today. And personally, I'm excited. Miss. Christine had given us an extra fifty dollars for shopping. Now we're on the bus and I'm excited to go shopping.
We get off the bus and walk into the store. We walk into the school supplies section.
"Okay Sammy, you got the list?" Ash asks me.
"Yep!" I say.
We grab everything we need that's on the list.
"Are we doing school lunches or are we bringing lunches?" I ask him.
"School lunch sucks. Let's bring lunches." He says.
"Okay, so what do you want for lunch Mon amour?" I ask him.
"Let's go to the food isles." He says.
We walk over to the food isles.
"Okay, so, soda, chips, and sandwich shit." He says.
"And how about we get some snacks as well?" I say.
"That works." He says.
We get all the lunch stuff then go to the check out.
"Your parents making you go shopping by yourselves?" The lady says smiling.
"No, actually, we live at the adoption center and we decided to go shopping for ourselves instead of making the lady who takes care of us go for us." I say.
"Are you boy's brothers or boyfriend's?" She asks.
"Boyfriend's." Ash says.
"Well that's cool! My girlfriend is actually a police officer. She has a daughter who is dating a girl too. So it's usually a house of gays. You two should meet them sometime!" The lady says.
"Is her daughter's name Charlotte Greene?" I ask.
"Yeah, do you know her?" She asks.
"She saved my life on the fourth of July." I say.
"Wait, are you two Sam and Ash?" She asks.
"Yeah!" Ash says.
"The girls talk about you all the time!" She says.
"Holy Shit really!?" I say.
"Yeah! How about you boy's come over tonight?" She says.
"Okay, what time?" Ash says.
"How about five?" She says.
"Okay, we'll be there!" I say.
We pay then leave. We get on the bus and go to the center. We put all our stuff in our backpacks then get ready to go. Both our phones buzz and we check our phones.
C: yo, Mia says she invited you two to dinner.
A: yeah, we actually ran into her at the store when we bought our school shit. XD
R: that's fuckin gr8.
S: yeah
C: our address is fourteen thirty-four north pine Street.
S: okay, we'll be over there soon!
R: see yah!
C: see yah!
We head out and go to the bus stop. We get on and go to the girl's house. Ash knocks on the door. After a few minutes Charlotte opens the door.
"What's up fuckers!?" She says and she hugs us.
"Hey!" We say.
"Are you going to make them stand outside or are you going to invite them in?" Miss. Greene says.
We come inside and sit at the table. Mia sets down a pizza in front of us.
"I slaved over the oven all day for this dinner." Mia says.
"Definitely." Charlotte says.
"Can this room get any gayer?" Raven says.
"Four lesbians and two gays and a trans guy, I don't think it can." I say.
"Shit, Sammy, you outed us!" Ash says.
"Do we need to have a talk you boy's about how being gay is wrong?" Miss. Greene jokes.
"But I love him!" I say and kiss Ash.
Ash kisses back. The girls laugh and then I pull away.
"I guess it's okay." Mia says jokingly.
"Yay!" Ash says.
We then eat and talk until it's time to leave.
"You boy's are welcome anytime. Okay?" Mia and Miss. Greene say.
"Okay!" We say.
We wave goodbye then get on the bus and go back to the center. Ash and I fall asleep on the bus.
