Tragedy

Noah

     "Noah?" She asked, her voice raspy and kinda groggy.
     "Bella? You're awake!" I exclaimed, tearing up
     "Wha- what happened?"
     "You got really sick. Your body couldn't take it. The doctors had to put you in a coma. They had such a hard time stabilizing you. They stopped the medication to put you in a coma but you wouldn't wake up. You.. um... flatlined about seven times while you were still in a coma. You were in it for about a month," tears streamed down my face as I talked, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I spent so much time with Mackenzie, I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry I said what I said, I'm sorry for raising my voice at you, I'm sorry for not listening to your story. Will you please forgive me?"
     "Yes I will. I can't stay mad at you Noah. Who did this?"
     "Mackenzie and Luke."
     "Who's Luke?" She asked, puzzled.
     "They'll be up here in a sec." I pulled out my phone and texted Mackenzie
                    Mackenzie
                                    Come back up here now!!! And bring Luke

Okay we're heading over now

     After I put my phone up a nurse came in.
     "Oh hello! When did she wake up Noah?" The young nurse asked.
     "J-just now, sir."
     "Okay, let me get all this off then I'll have to ask a few questions.
     "Okay, I said, moving chair and going to sit on the couch.
     After the nurse left, Mackenzie came with Luke.
     "Knock knock." She said greeting us the way she did when I would text her to come up.
     "Hey," I said, motioning them to come in, "I have a little surprise."
     When she got into the room fully, she saw what I was talking about.
     "Rosey!!" She exclaimed.
     "I thought her name was Bella." Luke whispered to me, scratching his head.
     Laughing, I explained the situation.
     "It is. Rosey's MacKenzie's nickname for her."
     "Ohhh."
     Mackenzie had tackled Bella in a hug.
     "I missed you so much Bella," She said finally releasing from the hug and sitting down on the side of her bed and pulling Luke over, "I want you to meet someone. This is Luke."
     "Hello Miss Bella Rose," he said, shaking her hand, " I'm Lucas Avery. You can just call me Luke."
     "Hello  Mr. Luke Avery."
     "Okay, okay." I said butting into the conversation.
     "Is Noah Miles jealous?" She mocked.
     "No...." I said.
     "I think he is.." she mocked once more, "Don't worry Noah, I think it's cute."
