Tragedy

     Bella was getting weaker, more tired, and always in pain. She was entering the last stage of cancer, the death sentence, the news nobody wants to hear, stage four. Even when she'd say she had a great day, her eyes didn't show it. The glimmer and happiness was fading into pain and hurt. I wanted to take her pain and put it all on myself. Cliche, I know.
     How could someone so pure, so beautiful, so loved, have to go through this? Me, Bella, Mackenzie, and Luke aren't fighting separately, but as one. Not only is Bella's light fading, all our lights are fading. The only difference is her soul is slowly going home and ours are stuck here.
     Bella and I were talking in her room when Alyssa walking in, making sure the door was pretty much closed as she slid herself in.
     "Hey guys. Bella, remember last month when you said you wanted to meet 5sos?"
     "Yes?" She replied, voice raising slightly, too weak to get too excited.
     "Well, they're visiting town to see you." She opened the doors to reveal the four Aussie boys who's music I have grown to love.
     I helped her into a wheelchair so she could meet them without having them crowd around which she hated more than anything. While Bella was talking to them, I grabbed my phone and told Mackenzie and Luke to come up.
     When they finally came up, they stopped dead in their tracks.
     "Wha-?" Mackenzie said, stopping dead in her tracks. Ashton turned around to see who was there.
     "Oh, hello there," he said after turning around.
     "Hi," she said, blushing.
     I whispered in his ear saying that he was her favorite. He responded with a simple 'ah' and went over to hug her.
     At the end of this whole thing, we had all had a good time and took a picture together. All in all it was a good day.
