Gathered in the entertainment center, me, Luke, Rosey, and Noah were all messing around and cracking jokes.
"Hey, guys, have y'all heard of this band called 5 seconds of summer? They're amazing." I ask, holding up my phone.
Rosey immediately pipped up. "Yes. I love them. I really want to meet them."
"I haven't. Who are they?" Noah asked
"They're an Australian band and they're coming out with they're third album next month. You should check them out."
"Okay, what song do you like the best? I'll play them right now."
"Oohhh English Love Affair!!" Rosey shouted.
"Noo do Youngblood. It's wayy better."
"I'll do English Love Affair first and Youngblood next ok?"
I slipped down in my seat while Rosey cheered and sang along to the song.
(Play the song now)
"They're really good." Luke commented.
"Right? I was told to start thinking about my wish for the Make a Wish program. Alyssa told me yesterday that they called telling her that they were ready to make my wish come true when I was. I'll probably wish to meet them." Rosey replied. As she was talking, her face and mood seemed to drop significantly. I put my hand on hers while Noah put his hand on her thigh.
"What's wrong? You have nothing to worry about. You'll get through this." Noah tried to reassure her.
"No I won't," Bella sobbed,"It's too late. When I got sick, it delayed my chemo schedule. It's too late." She leaned into Noah's chest and sobbed.
"We'll be here for you no matter what Bella." Luke tried to comfort the almost unconsolable Bella.
"Remember, we're all going through the same thing as you. We're always going to be here for you." Noah mumbled, finally consoling Bella.
"I'm sorry for breaking down guys, I just had a bunch of bottled up emotions."
"Noah chuckled a bit, "Why are you apologizing? You can't control if you break down. Just try to calm down."
"Okay."
