#34 Good luck or bad luck?

Caitlin's POV
I run around the corner. He has his back turned to me. I raise my gun and shoot. Bullseye. He turns around.
"Caitlin!", Cisco yells.
"I thought you said you were the best at laser tag?", I ask him sarcastically. He begins to smile.
"I am.", he says and I get hit. Barry and Harry shot me from above.
"Where are Crys and Frost?", Barry asks Cisco.
"Right here.", Frost says and she and Crys shoot Harry and Barry.
"We win.", Crys exclaims and the boys look hurt.

"Pretzel for Crys, Frost and Caitlin, Corn Dog for Iris, two frankfurters for Cisco three burgers, five churros and six funnel cakes for Barry.", Joe says as he hands us our food.
"Look at all of this junk. Guys, I'm really sorry. If the pipes in the house weren't making those weird, annoying sounds I would've actually had you all over for dinner.", Cecile says as she sits down with us. Joe, Cecile, Iris, Cisco, Barry, Crys, Frost and I were sitting at a small table in the park. Harry had left back to Star Labs earlier.
"Squeaky pipes in the West house. What a surprise.", Barry says sarcastically and looks at Iris who nods. It seems that Barry has forgiven her now.
"Really? You are familiar with this sound?"
"Oh yeah. You mean the eeeeeeuuu. It's been doing that for...18 years?", Iris asks Barry and he nods. I look at them a bit surprised.
"Every house has a personality, Iris. Just likes to be heard.", Joe speaks up. Barry's phone buzzes and he looks at it.
"Oh my gosh, they canceled. Wecler-Waclawiks cancled it.""For real?""Yes."
"Who are the Wexler-Wa-Claws-Wilix and why are we happy that they cancelled something?", Cisco asks Barry and Iris.
"Do you know this expensive restaurant with this really long waiting list? That is a couple that wants to eat there in two weeks and they were on the first spot. Iris and I are on the second.", Barry explains. Oh right. The restaurant...
"That is amazing you two, what a luck.", Joe says. We eat up and go back to Star Labs. Well except Joe and Cecile. They wanted to go back to their house because of the pipes. The moment we enter the alarm goes off.
"Silent alarm at the First National and O' Sullivan Bank. The Central City Bank is on that avenue too. Could be a spree.", Cisco says and Barry flashes out with his suit.
1/2 hour later Barry is back. We watched the badly recorded security footage and Barry told us he slipped on marbles like in a cartoon. Cisco and Harry then argued about luck and quantum entanglement. Iris and Joe found the woman in the CCPD database because she had 'bad luck'. Her name is Becky Sharpe, 24, no priors. We decided to track down the new dark matter incident because she, just like Deacon, wasn't in the city when the particle accelerator exploded.

Cisco's POV
"Gimme that."
"Man stop.", I answer.
"You're holding it wrong.", Harry answers and tries to grab the device from my hands.
"I know how to read a dark matter scan!"
"Dammit Ramon just gimme that!", Harry says and steals it from my hands. We continue to walk down the road when Barry flashes up behind us.
"Guys, Iris and I just lost two reservations for restaurants we wanted to go to."
"See? Bad Juju.", I say.
"Uhh Ramon. Here we go.", Harry says as the device starts to search. He thens stops. "Here. Right here. This is were Becky Sharpe was exposed to dark matter."
"Here?"
"Yeah."
"Can't be. This is the middle of the street. It isn't even an interesting one.", I answer.
"My scans are accurate." "Your scans are accurate? Explain how there's nothing within miles of even creating dark matter?"
"This is where I came out of the Speedforce.", Barry says as he walks onto the street.
"No. You came out in Ivy City." "No, I ran there after. I remember now. This is where I came out. This is were the portal opened.", he explains.
"And a wave of dark matter washed out with you. Imagine how many meta-humans you created.", Harry continues.
A bus passes behind Barry. "My best guess? A busload."

Barry's POV
We met up with the team in the cortex and told them about our discovery. Harry and Cisco got into a little fight again. Joe then told me to run him to his house. The pipes seemed to be leaking. Then Cait sent me a message with Becky's position. I run to Jitters.
"Winner, winner. Another winner.", she says sitting at a table. I walk up to her.
"Becky? Hi, you mind if I sit here?", I ask her and she just nods.
"Uhm Becky, you are probably wondering how I know your name."
"It's written on my cup.", she answers.
"Oh. Well that's not what I'm here for, you see? I'm working for the CCPD as a CSI. I investigate special people."
"Celebrities?", she asks me with a smile.
"No, not celebrities. Meta-humans. Which is what I think you are. See, I think you were exposed to dark matter on a bus ride three weeks ago.", I say and she grins.
"I think I would know if I was exposed to dark matter. It's weird."
"Becky, I know you have been having a lot of luck lately. And that you took some money from the Central City bank which doesn't belong to you."
"How do you know all this?"
"I just do. Look, getting powers is overwhelming. I'm sure you don't know how they work or what you should do with them.", I say.
"I have some ideas.", she says and I move my hand towards hers. "Ah ah ah. Do you really wanna test your luck? Bad things happen to people that get in my way.", she warns me. I look around and just then notice all the dangers in here. "Listen CSI-guy. My whole life has been one piece of crummy luck after the next."
"But we all have ups and downs."
"But not Becky Sharpe. I have only ever been dealt with bad hands. But I knew that one day the universe would see it made a mistake. And then I'd have the run of the table. I've got on that bus and Lady Luck smiled on me."
"Becky this isn't some higher power fixing a miscalculation. You have powers and they're affecting everyone around you making them feel as awful as you used to feel.", I say with more pressure.
"I'm sorry that...Maybe it's just their turn. Maybe for one second everyone else can feel how bad I have felt my entire life. Anyway, there is nothing you can do to stop me.", she says as she starts to walk out and I want to follow her but I see all the dangers about to hurt somebody so I watch her walk away.
