Snowflake and Frost (Abandoned/On Hiatus)

#36 Day off

3rd POV
Team Flash agreed on one thing. They needed a day off and this day was today. Iris somehow convinced that they guys and the ladies do different things. Iris invited Cecile and on Barry's request against her will Crys, Caitlin and Frost. Barry had Joe, Cisco and Harry. Iris planned to eat in a restaurant together while Cisco organized something at Joes.

In the two weeks since Ralph also joined the team a lot had changed for Caitlin. The three Snow's didn't have any problems with the missing ability to teleport. But rather other problems. While Crys was busy with having fun with a doppelgänger of one of her friends that had a connection to team Flash, Caitlin and Frost had bigger problems. One regarding their powers, one about their job and probably the most dangerous of the three, the message Caitlin got two weeks ago. The one about their job got handled by Caitlin but the message made it even harder. It was a simple list of times with days and a phone. The phone had only one number saved. And every message Caitlin got, caused her to get more bruised than normal. And the more bruises and other injuries she got, the harder it got to hide them from the rest of the team. Right now Caitlin was working at her computer. She booked a plane out of Central City. She stared at the ticket when she heard footsteps approaching. She quickly closed the window when she heard Iris."Here you are. Are you ready for our Ladies' night, that is in reality just a day off?"
"And by that she means a quiet low key dinner at a very classy restaurant.", Cecile said.
"Yeah that's exactly what it means. Super low key, super quiet."
"Actually, I don't think I'm gonna make it tonight. I'm just not feeling up to it."
"What? Are you feeling okay?", asked Iris.
"No, I'm fine, it's just...Sometimes life catches up to you, you know."
"Caitlin, please come on."
"Im really sorry but Frost, Crys and I can't come."
"What why?"
"Crys is hanging out with a friend, I have something to finish and Frost is...busy.", Caitlin answers.

Cisco had organized a nice and rather quiet time but his plan got smashed when Ralph showed up.

Cecile and Iris canceled their reservation because it would be boring with just two persons. Cecile finished some work while Iris decided to do something a bit different. She decided to follow Caitlin because her gut told her something was off about her. Iris waited until Caitlin left and then carefully followed her. She walked a few streets until she got on a bus. From there she walked along another street until she stopped under a bridge and waited. Iris took out her camera and waited hidden behind a corner.

Ralph somehow got the boys to follow him to one of his most favorite places. Unfortunately for the others, it was a strip club. The security guard collected their phones and they walked to the bar.
"God, I wish  I could have a drink.", Barry wished.
"Bro, you really think I would let you down just like that?", Cisco says and holds up a vial with 'Meta-alcohol' and the code '6h1F' in Caitlin's handwriting on it."Your special concoction. I guarantee that it will give you this gentle pleasant buzz all night long."
"Did Caitlin give it to you?"
"Well, not exactly..."
"You stole it?"
"Yeah but for who else should she have made it? And look at the code. 1 glass for 6 hours for Flash. What else could it stand for?", Cisco encouraged him."And don't worry about the city. I'll jump in if something happens."
"Fine."
"To our day off.", they all said and emptied their glasses.

A few minutes later Joe, Cisco, Ralph and Harry were sitting on a couch at the end of the room.
"Can you stop doing that.", Joe said as Ralph used his stretchy arm to steal some money from a man a few tables away.
"I'm just getting change for 5. What? You think I was stealing?"
"It's not about your sticky fingers, Ralph. It's about your stretchy arm publicly displayed.", Cisco said.
"So I should be more like captain discrete over there?", Ralph asked and pointed at drunk Barry.
"I'm the Flash!", Barry yelled and everyone cheered.
"Caitlin might has slightly miscalculated the liquid.", Cisco said not knowing that the 4 and the F weren't standing for 'for Flash' and instead for something entirely else.
"I got this one.", Joe said and got Barry to sit down with them. Barry then made a weird sound.
"Barry? What did you just do?", Cisco asked suspicious.
"I got peanuts from the bar.", Barry slurred.
"But You didn't even move."
"Or did I?"
