"So how can I help you?", Adam Smith asked as he, Joe and Barry sat down in his living room.
"The name Smith came up in an investigation of ours quite often. We would just like to ask you some questions.", Joe explained taking out his notes.
"But why me? My name is pretty common I guess. I bet here live like 1.100 Smith in this city. I for myself know three other people with the same last name. But carry on."
"The name has been confirmed to have a connection to four separate cases."
"So you think I'm a witness?"
"No, we would like to execute you as a suspect."
"Wait. What?", Smith asked a bit shocked.
"Sir. What brings you to Central City?"
"Well, I didn't like my hometown. It just didn't seem I would fit in and I wanted to get away from my parents so I moved here."
"Question: Do you know Ramsey Deacon?"
"Umm...The name sounds familiar. I think we shared a course in Highschool. He seemed very gifted in things regarding computers."
"Alright. Becky Sharpe?"
"Sadly no.", Smith answered since he found her quite...nice.
"Ralph Dibny?", Barry asks but Smith shakes his head.
"Mina Chaytan?"
"Yes. She was interested in one of my Sioux artifacts. You see, I like to collect artifacts and give them back to their rightful owners.", Smith answers. Barry looks around in the room but the only thing that would fit the title 'artifact' was a painting of a Samurai on a wall.
"Like the painting."
"This was one of my first artifacts I collected. A samurai. They often made unstoppable enemies to their opponents. You wouldn't wanna cross one."
"So you spent time in japan?"
"Yeah. I traveled a lot. Last year for example I visited France. But Japan was one of my favorite."
"Then you speak the language?"
"Hai, furansugo, Supeingo, ratengo to issho ni. I apologize but I have work. Is there anything else I could help?"(Yes, along with French, Spanish and Latin.)
"No. Thank you. If we have any more questions we will get into contact. Barry."
"Yes."
"You know where to find me.", Adam said as Joe and Barry walked out.
Harry immediately walked up to the two who came out of the lion's cave.(A/N: I don't know if you have this in English but in German you say 'to walk into a lion's cave.' if you talk about walking into enemy territory.)
"Is it him?", Harry asked and Joe and Barry share a look.

The team didn't quite believe that Smith was their big bad but Barry was sure of it. Caitlin and Crys didn't really argue with them. Both weren't quite sure which side to take. After all, Barry had a point with acting nice but then turning out to be a villain. The team decided to go over all their research again to make sure of it.

—-Flashback—-
Smith sits down in front of his TV studying the report interested. It was, after all it were only seconds until the particle accelerator was launched. Then he heard a bang and the news reporter started talking about how the facility was being evacuated because of a malfunction. Then the TV and all the lights turn off. He walks over to his window and looks out only to see a orange wave of light hitting his house and throwing him through the room and into a wall.

—-Back to reality—-
The doorbell rings and Smith opens.
"Mr. Allen. Twice on one day."
"Yeah. Sorry to bother you again."
"Look I have a project to finish..."
"No, I understand that you're busy. It won't take long. I just wanted to ask, where were you four years ago, in the night of January 7?", Barry asks and Smith gestures for him to come in.
"Honestly I don't know. How far back is this investigation of yours going?"
"I'm not in liberty to discuss this with you. Also do you ever use public transport? Like a bus?"
"No, I prefer more green ways to travel. Is that really necessary? You were supposed to eliminate me as a subject but instead it looks like you've got your guy."
"Oh no. This is just procedures.", Barry lied.
"Feels like persecution. Now, can I get back to you or do I need you to accompany me while  buying groceries downtown?"
"No of course not.", Barry says and hands him his card. While Smith looks at it Barry quickly takes his mug and hides it behind his back.
"Just e-mail me.", Barry says and leaves.
