Derek: being the man of romance he is wanted to make a huge gesture about it but ended up losing the ring a week later he found it and wanted to text Mark that he found it but ended up texting you so it pretty much happened over the phone.

Mark: You were joking around one day with Mark when you all of a sudden suggested marriage and he told you he thought it was an excellent idea so it just sort of happened.

Alex: after a long shift you and Alex were sitting at home alone when he suddenly asked if you wanted to marry him and he pulled a ring out of his pocket. You had noticed him acting strange but never expected this.
