Chaoter 5- the same day

The school day went by as slow as ever, half because I was thinking about how crazy I had to be to run away, and half because I was busy creating a mental list of everything I had to pack.
The bell finally rang, and Sarion ran up to me as I headed to my bus. "So are you in or not? I'm leaving tonight either way." I stared at him, wanting to take in the severity of this decision. This could get me killed or freed, depending on how I play my cards. However, living this life seemed almost worse than death, so I was willing to take my chances.
"I'm in."
Sarion smiles at me and nodded. "Start packing as soon as you get home. Be ready to leave at..." he checks his wristwatch "...9 o'clock sharp. Micah is on her way here now from the camp to get us, she should arrive within a few hours. We'll drive up to your window and set up a ladder. You'll have to get down quick because they can't rusk getting caught". He looks at me up and down and sighs "don't leave anything for your mom. She'll snitch. If anything, just tell her an extra 'I love you' before you head to your room"
I nod, trying to memorize every syllable he just said. His mom honks the car horn for him to get in and he runs to her, waving goodbye to me. I run in the bus and settle down in the very back seat, going over my packing checklist over and over.
