Wait, what?!

Barry's POV

I finished getting ready as Caitlin started on curling her hair. I was wearing an old baggy t shirt that I had brought and some jeans with my favorite sneakers.

Caitlin was wearing a pretty black dress and some navy blue high heels. She looked absolutely stunning. I walked over to get and looked into the mirror as she smiled.

"You're going to make us late." I said as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

She smiled and replied, "Well, if you're going to make me go outside, I at least want this mess to look nice."

I chuckled and walked into the small kitchen that she had. I had laid my small red suitcase by a stool, and I had completely forgotten about it. So I picked it up and wheeled it into Caitlin's room so that it would be out of her way.

"Ok, I'm ready." I heard Caitlin say as I turned around to see her standing in her bedroom doorway.

I walked over and planted a kiss on her cheek."You look beautiful."

I saw her blush as she turned around and giggled. I handed her bag to her and she pulled me out the door.

(TIME SKIP)

Barry's POV

We had finally reached the cortex and as soon as we said 'hi', Harry and Wally both started bombarding us with questions.

"Where have you two been?" Harry yelled at us from across the room.

"Caitlin, what the hell happened to you?" Wally asked as he stood up from the desk.

"Woah woah woah! Easy! We slept late, but we'rere here now!" I said as I walked over to a stool and sat down.

"And I'm only like this because I was happy last night." Caitlin said, gesturing to herself.

Wally and Harry looked at us funny before Wally asked, "Why were you happy?"

I looked over at Caitlin. She was gazing down at her feet. I saw her blush before I looked up at Wally and Harry.

"Well, that's what we wanted to talk to you guys about. Caitlin and I-uh- we are together now?" I said, like a question instead of a statement.

Harry's eyes widened and Wally fell out of his chair.

"Wait, what?" Wally asked once he stood up again.

"Um...Yeah. Barry and I decided that, well, it's time to move on and get over our losses!" Caitlin said as she checked Wally's head for any bumps.

Wally swatted her hand away as I said, "So, we decided that we should be together since we are so much alike."

Wally and Harry exchanged glances before Harry smiled and said, "Well, we are glad that you two have finally gotten over Ir- er- the losses that we've had. But are you sure that it's a good pair? And I don't mean physically or anything, I mean element-wise."

Caitlin's POV

Once Harry said that, I finally realized what he had meant. I thought it over got a few seconds and then I did something I never thought I would do.

"I guess we'll just have to wait and find out." I said as I walked back over to Barry and held his hand.

"Oh. Uh. Okay then!" Wally said as he walked over and have us both one of his infamous bear hugs.

As soon as he pulled away the alarm went off. Wally ran over to one of the computers and then started banging on the keyboard furiously.

"What is it?" Barry asked.

"We have a robbery on 12th and Maine!" Wally said as he continued typing away.

"Wait, Caitlin!" Barry said as I ran over to another computer.

I looked up at him as he asked, "Do you want to help?"

I smiled as I stood and said, "I thought you'd never ask."

Barry ran over, changed into his suit and picked me up as we went to the bank.
