Valentine's Day Special

No one's POV

"Caitlin?" Barry yelled through the comms. There was no reply. "Caitlin!"

"Yeah! Yeah, I'm here. What's going on?" Caitlin hurriedly responded.

"Where are they?" he asked.

She scanned through her computer display of the building and replied, "Vault. Lower level, first door to your right, next to the stairwell."

"M'kay," he finished.

Caitlin turned off her microphone and sighed. She rolled back over to her computer and tweaked her designs one last time. Once she finished, she leaned back in her chair and admired her work.

"Ok, they're cuffed and CCPD is on their way. Before I come home, should I get us something to eat?" he asked, his breathing still heavy from the battle.

"TACOS!!" I screamed.

"Okay!" he laughed. "Give me about 10 minutes."

"I guess." I said in fake disappointment. "See you later."

"Love you," qnd with that the comms turned off.

(TIME SKIP)

"Mmm...What makes TACOS so good?" I asked as I licked the crumbs off of my fingers.

Barry shrugged and game me a side hug. "I dont know. But you're right, tacos are the best, second only to your red velvet cake."

I giggled at his not-so-subtle hint.

(The next day)

I made sure to get up earlier than Barry so that I could frost the cake I made last night. Once I finished, I decided that I would also suprise him with a pancake breakfast- his favorite.

I flipped the last pancake when I heard the bedroom floor cream. I tossed it the last pancake on top of the stack and drenched it all in syrup and butter.

I squealed in surprise when Barry hugged me from behind and asked, "What is all this?"

I turned around and exclaimed, "Happy Valentine's Day!"

"Happy Valentine's Day. You're the best." he smiled.

"I know."

Barey kissed me and them gasped. "Is that red velvet?"

I nodded and he kissed me over and over. I chuckled and nudged him away. "I'm hungry and I made pancakes. Let's eat!"

"Hell yeah! This is by far the best Valentine's Day ever!" he said as he helped me carry everything over to my table.

We are and agreed to split the cake, half and half, while we watched movies.

We stayed up late eating cake and re-watching old movies on Netflix.
