Time to Adjust

Barry's POV

I waited for Caitlin to say Just Kidding or something, but she didn't.

"Wait, you're serious?" I asked.

She nodded as she went over to the couch and wrapped up in a quilt.

"Wait if you're really cold and I'm really hot, then couldnt we just transmit our thermal body temperatures through touch?" I asked.

"Well, I never tried it, so what's to lose? she said as she removed the blanket and moved over on the couch so that we could curl up next to each other.

"Damn, you really are freezing," I said as I snuggled even closer to her.

She wrapped my arms around her and she put her head on top of mine.

We sit like this until we hear a loud whirring noise and then the door to my apartment is kicked open by...

"Harry?" Caitlin and I shouted at the same time.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Harry yelled as he shot his sound wave gun through my window. "Oh God! I'm sorry Caitlin! I'll pay for that!"

"No, it's fine but what the hell?" I asked as Barry sat up with his arms still wrapped around me.

"Oh, well, you see, I thought that something must've been wrong with you guys. But since it's not I'll leave you two alone." He said as he started to close the door.

"Wait!" I yelled.

Harry poked his head back through the door and waited for me to talk.

"We still need help!" Caitlin said.

"With what?" Harry asked.

"Well, we think that when Eiling experimented on us, he switched-" I started.

"Your powers." Harry finished.

"Our powers. Wait, how did you know?" I asked.

"I'm Harrison Wells. Duh," He said.

Caitlin nodded and Harry pulled two miniature cylinders.

"What are those?" I asked.

"Not shoes." He grinned at his own joke before continuing, "They should help you two figure out your powers until we can reverse what happened."

Caitlin's POV

"Okay, first, that is so two years ago, and second, why can't we focus on reversing our powers, and third, why the actual hell did you have these in the first place?" I asked.

"I've had these for a year and that's because I knew someone would try this again after Melting Pot's 'rampage'." Harry air quotes the word rampage.

"I see your point, but can we please try to fix this whole temperature thing?" Barry asked.

Harry and I both noticed that Barry was standing there drenched in sweat.

"If you guys are ready, then I am." Harry said as he placed one cylinder in my palm and one in Barry's.

"Use these as ear buds. It goes in an ear of your choice." Harry said as Barry and I followed instructions.

"Well, here goes nothing." I said as Barry an I place the cylinder in our ear.
