CHRISTMAS

Ahhhhh! I'm so sorry guys! I got a new phone for Christmas and I had to transfer all of my apps over and stuff so I didn't get this up! And I'm going on this big orchestra trip tomorrow (the day you all are reading this) and I've been packing the past few days so I haven't written as much as I would have liked to. I know that isn't really an excuse BUT I hope you all will still enjoy this part even though it's a day later than I had originally promised. I love you all and Happy Holidays!

So like pretend that Barry and Caitlin have a little girl (Sophie) that is about 7 and a little boy (Sam) thats like 9.

Enjoy and happy holidays!

Caitlin's POV
"Barry, find the kids and tell them that the cookies have cooled down and that they are ready to be decorated please." I asked Barry.

I hadn't been able to do much lately because Sophie and Sam both decided that they were going to beg Barry and I to let them make Christmas cookies for the little get-together at STAR Labs tonight.

"Yeah, they're outside. Be right back Cait!" Barry called as he headed out of the kitchen.

I smiled to myself as I continued mixing the frosting. A few moments later my hair blew into my face as Barry ran back into the kitchen with Sophie and Sam in his arms.

"Delivery for Cait," Barry said as he set the kids down on their feet.

"Mommy, did you bake my bear?" Sophie asked as she ran over to look at all of the cookies on the counter.
"Yes, but before you two can decorate you have to wash your hands and have Daddy put your apron on you," I said as I began carrying trays of cookies over to our dining table.

A few moments later, Sophie, Sam, and Barry walked back into the dining room and sat down.

"Sophie, here is your plate," I instructed as I laid different plates of cookies down in front of everyone, "And Sam, here are yours. Your dad and I will help you both, okay?"

The two children both nodded as they began reaching for different bowls of frosting.

*later that evening*

Barry's POV
"Goodnight you two. Make sure that you go to sleep right away or else you'll be tired tomorrow; and you don't want to be tired and crabby on Christmas!" I said as I flicked the lights off in the kids' small bedroom.

"Ok, Daddy!" Sam said as he buried himself under five different blankets.

"Good night! I love you!" Sophie said.

I smiled and turned to close the door behind me. I went back out into the living room and sat on the couch cushion next to Caitlin.

"So what should we do now?" Caitlin asked as she set down her book.

"I don't know, do you want to watch a movie? Or we could order takeout from that new Chinese place," I responded as I laid my arm around Cait's shoulders. Her face turned pale all of a sudden and I could feel her take a sharp breath.

"I don't think Chinese would be a good idea, Barry."

"What's wrong? Are you getting sick?" I asked, pulling her shoulders to make her face me.

"I don't know, I think I might have eaten something bad at the party or something. I've had a stomachache for a while now." She replied with a weak smile.

I raised one brow, but she only mimicked the motion on her own face. I rolled my eyes and chuckled as I pulled her into my arms.

"Then I'm going to make sure that you get some sleep. There's no need for you to be feeling sick on Christmas." I said as I started to rub soothing circles into her back.

She wrapped her arms around me and laid her head down on my chest. Not even a full five minutes later her breathing had evened out and become slow and deep.

Ok so IDK if this counts as a Christmas special, but I finally finished it. (Just so y'all know I'm writing this on a bus while driving through Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky. The picture at the beginning is me on the bus being tired.) But anyway, I really hoped you guys like this, and I'm not sure, but I might be able to write a little bit in the trip because we drive for a total of 4 days, but we'll see.

Love you all and Happy Holidays!
