I walked downtown holding the list that MJ gave. Even on my days off, I still work. Before I left last night she gave me a list of things to get, for next weeks show.
What I'm curious about is why we need streamers. And which party store sells them.
I walked into a cafe for a coffee break. Do I really need coffee, or can I get tea? Do they have tea?
"Peter." A female voice sounded.
I looked over to my right and saw Pepper Potts glaring at me.
"Oh, hi Ms.Potts!" I faked smiled."What are you doing here?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Getting coff-tea! Um, coffee-tea." I bit my lip and looked away.Damn this is awkward.
"Let me rephrase that." Ms.Potts laughed to herself. "Shouldn't you be on a street corner?"
I blinked, okay so we're still on that."Um, no?" I squinted my eyes at her. "I don't do that."
That's caused her to roll her eyes, "Sure you don't. Do me a favor and stay away from Tony." She glared at me.I have no idea how I made this woman hate me so much. We barely talked, and she would sell my organs on eBay. It's like she's in-oh."
"Do you like him?" I heard myself asked. Stupid, stupid, stupid! You don't ask people that Peter! Now she's really going to kill you!
"That's none of your business." Her voice grew hard. I gulped and carefully stepped away from her.
A cafe worker called her name and with one last glare, she left with an iced mocha. I breathed in a sigh of relief as the line started to move again.
That was a disaster.
I felt my phone vibrate as the person in front of me ordered.
Tony
