A month or two have passed since Star came here, and she's made every day a treasure. From traveling through dimensions with Flying Princess Pony Head to changing back Marco's monster arm, which I had to help with. Star had fallen asleep, so I tried changing it back myself until she woke up after I was thrashed around for like five minutes. Today started like any other: Star, Marco and I walked to school, had our first two classes (second block we all had together). As the bell rang, I noticed Star in some kind of trance, stareing off into space. I waved my hand in front of her face.
"Star! Time to go! You got paint or something. Right here." Marco said, pointing to the center of his forehead. Star looked at it and peeled it off. It was a tiny purple heart. She looked absolutely terrified.
" Marco, this is not paint." Star said, scared. I chuckled.
"Well, looks like you got another heart." Star looked at me.
"Quiet, Jacob. This is serious! I think I'm going through... mewberty." She said as more purple hearts appeared on her face. Star pulled her hair over her face.
"Weeellll, oookaaay. Uh, mewberty. That's nothing to be afraid of. We have a similar thing here on Earth." Marco said. Star turned and pointed at Marco.
"Don't confuse this with your Earth things, Marco! I'm from Mewni! This is gonna get really weird. You gotta keep me away from boys! Wait a second..." Star looked at me again, her pupils becoming hearts.
"...Jacob's a booooy..." She said slowly. I stepped back a few feet, but Star kept moving forward.
"I don't like where this is going." I said. Marco chuckled and backed away.
"When you say things are going to get weird, do you mean typical-Star weird or, like, destroy-the-school weird?" Marco asked.
"Destroy-the-school." Star said. Oh, that can't be good, exaggerated or not.
"That's what I was worried about. Let's get you home." Marco said as we led Star out of the room. As we got farther and farther away from the classroom, Star's condition got worse. More purple hearts formed on her face. It culminated when Marco grabbed Star's arm, causing her to shoot purple hearted webbing at the door of a locker. We all screamed for about five seconds before Star tried to pull away. Instead of freeing herself, she opened the locker and slid halfway in.
"...I'm stuck." She said. Marco offered to help, but Star locked herself in the locker.
"No! Your little boy hands are part of the problem!" She said, still inside the locker. Star said to find her spell book, which she gave to Ferguson as reward for losing a bet. I offered to stay with her and keep her company. That and to keep her from seeing other boys. I put a pom pom on my head and used my falsetto voice to try to appear as a girl. She sat in the locker, peeling off the hearts, but just as she finished, more boys came around the corner. As more people walked by, Star formed more purple hearts everywhere. I stood in front of the locker, blocking Star's view. The people disappeared and we both calmed down. Then the swim team showed up as the pool was contaminated. I panicked and grabbed a piece of paper, placing it in the slot of the locker. I stayed until the swim team left so Star couldn't see. With that being done, I walked away to grab some food. More people arrived as soon as I left.
"Aw, crud." I murmured. Running back to where I was, I was terrified to find that I couldn't find Star's locker. I looked around for five minutes before someone opened the locker, not noticing Star at all. The locker was filled with purple hearts, so much so that the only part of Star I could see was her face. Her skin had turned dark purple in color with her pupils becoming purple hearts as well. She reached her hand out to poke the boy in front of her.
