After finally getting on the road again the drive took forever for us to get back to the city. Honestly, I was just glad to be out of a closed pace with Mark. I can't let that... this... whatever this is go any further. We pull up to Mark's house and I take a breath taking Jack's hand with a smile. He smiled intertwining or fingers. Alicia dropped us off, to come to the studio tomorrow. even though I have to get my sister back I'm stuck in the show as well. I take a breath as we go inside. I feel almost empty without Emily here. I look down lightly and glance toward the boys. "I...I think I'm gonna head to bed." I say softly heading for the stairs. Mark nodded watching me as Jack walked with me, side by side.
"Are you okay Jenna?" He asked softly as we walk into the room. I'm trying to hold it together but I can't anymore. I shake my head and the tears immediately start falling from my eyes. Sobbing I sit on the edge of the bed feeling his arms wrapped around me. His hands rubbing my back trying to sooth me, but I know he doesn't know what to say to me. I wouldn't know either. All I want is for him to hold me, and to hold Emily. But since I can't this is enough. I can't fight the tears as they stain his shirt.
The next morning I woke up tangled with Jack. I fell asleep crying against him. He must have never let me go. The small thought brought a smile to my face as I kissed his head before heading down stairs. My eyes burned from crying all night but its okay. In the kitchen I just grab a bowl of peanut butter and chocolate cheerios... I didn't even know these things existed. I feel exhausted, and drained. Carrying my bowl to the dining room table I see Mark come down the stairs with messy hair and boxer shorts. I have to avert my eyes quickly as I catch something I don't think he wants me looking at. Its not his fault, it just happens in the morning. I clear my throat looking down at my cereal. He smiled sheepishly. "Hey.." He started lightly.
I glance up lightly. "Hey... listen... we need to talk." His face dropped as he sighed sitting across from me.
"I know..." He said lightly.
((I know this chapter is short but its up, the next one comes soon. I'm beat as of right now but ill try to be more active from now on.))
