The next day of school was running smoothly me and mel had our run in with this dog from hell, We honestly didn't actually expect to find him it was pure luck. I walked to the boys restroom I was already in Biology, I hated it yes Superman has kryptonite but my weakness is biology! I slipped right in closing the door behind me taking out my phone and logging into my Snapchat, checking to see if anyone cared enough to text me..spoiler alert they didn't. The boy from the other day walked in he glanced at me as he wondered towards the sinks, I leaned against the wall and stared down into my phone scrolling down my messages. A gentle average toned voice displayed "hey you're that kid I knocked into the other day right?" He mentioned. I looked up from my phone towards him his eyes staring at me through the mirror reflection as he slowly rinsed his hands. "Hmm? Oh yeah that ..,yeah you did.." I responded as he slowly turned his head towards me.
"Hey man sorry about that by the way I didn't mean to sound like a total ass buster." He grinned drying his hands by the hand dryer.
"Ass buster?" I asked now turning off my phone shoving it in my pocket.
"Yeah I wasn't having the greatest day you know first days are the fucking worst!"
"Yeah I feel you there isn't the best feeling knowing you're the new kid.." I smiled
"Well god damn tickle my sack we're the fuck are my manners I'm Nexhin.." he ripped off a piece of paper towel to finish what the dryer couldn't. I silently thought to myself that this dudes vocabulary was off the charts he cursed more then me Jesus. "I'm geo .." I smiled as we bro fisted.
"Well I gotta go geo but it was so good to finally meet you in person." He smirked and walked out I finished looking at the stories on snap and soon ran to bio to finish up my day. Later on while mel and I walked home after school we had both got a text from Kat to meet up on tremberg ave , it was maybe two blocks down from kats house "let's go." I suggested and began walking with mel. "So you and captain dick face are cool now you're saying?" Mel asked I nodded and shrugged "yeah his names Nexhin he's actually pretty chill, you see he wasn't having the best day which was why he didn't apologize sooner which I didn't blame him."
"but he's an asshole whatever I guess if you're cool with him I guess I am I'm just keeping my eye on him." Mel said with skepticism carried out in his tone. "Look bro really he's a chill guy once you get to meet him ...may say every curse word in the book but you know he's pretty understanding." Mel rolled his eyes "you know what else is understanding?" He threw his hand on his crouch and cuffed it. "Mmm Mmmm! OH BABY THERES YOUR UNDERSTANDING BRO!" I couldn't but help to burst into a laughing mess of tears and stomach pains. "Ok but let's try to give the guy a chance you never know I'm not saying Nexhin could be our friend but I'm just saying we could get along you know?" I said wiping tears from my cheek. "Fine I'll think about it." He smiles as we both stopped in front of Kat who was standing there with a big grin on her face.
"Howdy do boys!" Kat shouted excitingly, "what's this about Kat?" I questioned.
"Yeah kitty what you up too?" Mel followed behind me.
"So boys I was thinking about what you said yesterday and I got to work!...and you guys were right! What the hell kind of help am I if you guys aren't really super hero's! So I got to thinking..what does every super hero have? And there's no wrong answers boys!" Kat asked enthusiastically.
Mel gasped then exclaimed "A BAT-MOBILE!"
Kats smile turned into a blank expression "ok anybody except Carmelo?"
"Actual good costumes?" I folded my arms feeling confident about my guess Kat sighed "ok no but I'm working on that GUYS A SECRET LAIR!" She shouted, mel and I exchanged confused looks at each other. "Boys if you'd look to the left of me , you will find our new headquarters right before your eyes!" I quickly turned towards our left my eyes squinted. "Kat?...that's shop rite..." mel agreed "yeah what the fuck we're that poor budget that we're renting shoprite?" Kat face palmed "No! My left you dumbasses!"
"KAT WE'RE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF YOU THATS RIGHT FOR US!" Mel yelled.
"Don't yell you know how sensitive I am!" Kat responded.
I looked right and saw a even shittier broken warehouse chunks of the building were missing and most of the windows were shattered or broken. "Ok so I take it back is shop rite an option?" Mel said. Kat shook her head "no hear me out this warehouse was nearly destroyed by a fire in the early 2014 and hasn't been brought or remodeled sense! I was taking a look at the blueprints they built a big basement to hold storage boys you're looking at the new X CAVE!" Kat smiled and jumped up and down like a fan girl at the hunger games fan convention. "So why are we calling it the X cave?" I questioned.
"Sounds pretty cool to me.." mel replied Kat nodded agreeing, I sighed slowly "how did you even get this place?" I uttered,
"Well I brought it actually for 800,569 dollars!" She smiled and put her glasses on. "Oh that's cool- WAIT WHAT?! Kat where the hell did you get that much money from?!" I shouted my eyes widened.
"Oh well you see I drained mazes account of 2.3 million and sent it into a off shore account but to play it safe we're buying everything from a different ip addresses." Kat whispered.
"Oh my god Kat you just admitted to three different types of laws you broke!" I panicked quietly. Kat shook her head "geo it's ok I covered our tracks plus you act like we took it from a starving family no we took it from a criminal who's not going to be using it and I'm only going to be buying everything on blacknet so it's physically impossible from them to trace it back."
"Black who?" I demanded to know.
"Black nets basically the less dark twisted dark web and more of a friendly cyber black market and weapon selling type site." Kat smiled I shook my head "I don't like the sound of any of it..just please stay careful ok?" I begged and Kat agreed "so how was the meeting?" Kat asked me and mel exchanged a worried look."Geo shot him in the leg.." mel replied.
"You shot the dog from hell in the leg!?" Kat exclaimed.
"I meant to shoot near his foot I'm not green arrow you know!" I shouted. Kat Groaned "is he alive?!" I nodded "but uh...I think the guy either just got out of the nut house or belongs in one.." I scratched the back of my head.
"What why?" Kat asked bitting her nail.
I let out a cough "Well you see I gave him a warning to stop right? And the crazy bastard said he doesn't fight in this world anymore! That he's fighting demons from coming into this world!" Kat and mel laughed "he's a crack head no doubt!" Mel exclaimed.
"Yeah demons! And I'm the average felicity smoke replacement! HA" Kat answered laughing. "Yeah and I'm batman!" Mel joined in we all shared another laugh then I shouted "YEAH and I'll have a girlfriend by the end of this year!" We all laughed then soon coughed awkwardly and stood on the sidewalk in silence.
"So you guys wanna like start in on the newest murders tonight?" Kat proposed me and mel both fist pumped "hell yeah!" Mel shouted.
"I gotta go home and do home work first.." I added both Kat and mel agreed and we ran home..
