Chapter 18- You're going down

And so we stood there staring each other down thunder striking the night sky lighting up a soft blue into the black clouds, a light drizzle began to drop on me and the stranger the sounds of the raindrops hitting my mask making a quick thud. I slowly cracked my neck while staring into his eyes they were cold making the hairs on my arms stand up. "Dragons got an upgrade huh..." I stared at him as the man didn't speak not even a word "I'll break your jaw..send you back to them..." I let out softly the man quickly advanced himself in my direction as he shot up in the air round house kicking me I was forced back as his boot hit my face I looked at him he was quick I'll give him that. But nothing I wasn't gonna sit back and take he ran at me and I rushed back both of us charging at each other, He quickly leaped over but I grabbed ahold of his leg slamming him back down against the brick wall he fell I took the advantage as I began to kick him in the side adding injury. Quickly grabbing him by the back of his neck I gripped it getting ready to slam his face back into the wall but he caught on this giving him time to throw his head smashing it into my face as I let go taking a step back. "You motherfuck-" I said quietly to myself The man grabbed me slamming his knee into my stomach but my armor absorbing the blow, I barely felt it he looked at me noticing the blow didn't phase me at all his eyes in a bit confusion. I softly grinned as I threw my head forward into his face hitting him so hard he dropped to the ground. Within a matter of seconds he used his legs to kick himself in the air kicking me back a few feet, as he formed into a quick cartwheel as I stumbled and he sprung up into the air smashing his fist against my face.In my state still to slow to react I felt him track back up grabbing my pants and back slamming me into the ground.

I heard a huge crack I opened my left eye to see my sight was a different shade as my right looking on the ground a foot head my mask in half on the floor as the rain began to heavily fall. With half my mask gone this only set fuel to the rage I grit my teeth forcing myself back up. But the male already had lounged back on me quickly wrapping his legs around my neck he began to take advantage brutally smashing his fist into the right side of my now exposed face. Full of pure rage I quickly grabbed the man by his throat I threw him forward into the wall as he hit it and fell down on his knee, I quickly searched looking at an old rusty dirty metal bat by the dumpster without second guessing myself I grabbed it and slammed it right into the mans face this striking him down. I raised the bat to strike him down again but the man lounged forward grabbing the handle smashing a rock he picked up from the ground into my exposed side of the face. Goddamn it cover your face! I thought to myself the pain seeping in as I grunted Falling to my side holding my face. I wasn't letting this dude win not now..not EVER! I forced myself through the pain pushing myself up back on to my feet turning slowly to him my face bleeding and bruised as he rose as well both of us staring each other down weak and exhausted and injured his face bleeding as well. Rain completely pouring down getting in the way of my right eye, I took a step forward reaching behind my pocket for my baton until I heard a rustle up above me the figure and I both glanced up as we saw wrecker and his opponent fall both landing on us I pushed wrecker off me as I grunted "get your heavy ass off of me wreck!!" Mid shove I looked up to see multiple figures appeared over on the edges of the buildings symbols on their uniforms with a dragons head, they all began lounging from above down towards us Wrecker and his new friend both standing side by side as they both lightly grinned at each other giving them both a nod leaping into action. Wrecker with a katana in his hand slicing through a enemy as his now truced teammate slammed wreckers second katana into the shoulder of another dragon, wrecker looked towards the side of his frenemy seeing another dragon coming to get him. wrecker swung the Allie knowing and ducking as the blade slit the dragons throat bodies of the dragons began dropping into the ally. I was confused just as much as the boy next to me we looked at each other he couldn't have been a dragon and fight dragons both confused in the moment a woman at the end of the ally spoke out towards us "Boys are so ...interesting.."

she smirked water pouring down her boots clicking against the ground with every step she took towards us. She wore a tank top and shorts she began picking up the pace of the walk as she softly let out "Too bad I'm going to have to take you both in.." she giggled swinging her katana over her shoulder her other hand placed on her left hip. "What she gonna do..I can take her on arm tied behind my back." I mumbled to myself as I scoffed she was so tiny compared to me and the boys height it was almost enough to send me laughing. But my throat closed and my heart sank once she took her hand off her hip long talon like nail began to expand out of her wrist. they began to glow most of the blood on her nail coating and covering some of the light as she roughly slid her talon along the brick surface sparking flicks and little spects of electricity  making this screeching sound that sent chills down my spine. "So Killer-X And Mute..it's a lucky day to be me.." she lightly smiled mute what type of name is mute I said to myself I mean my name sounds cooler and that says something "I can't catch a break at all can I.." I stood up pulling out my baton Mute now standing next to me pulling a small dagger on of his back pocket we looked at each other me giving a nod as he gave one back we both focused on our common enemy weapons armed at the ready....This was going to be our nightmare as she giggled at our weapons knowing she wouldn't be worried at all. She flossed her new claw by her face a sinister smile spreading from cheek to cheek  I examined her hand maybe it was some glove she had. No it was her living hand the nails glowing brighter how was it possible? How was she able to do that?..the question echoed in my mind multiple times ....what is she?...The thunder struck the sky lighting up the ally as the two boys continued rampaging their way through ninjas her eyes...she had this crazed look in her eyes that sent the hairs on the back of my neck up. "What the hell are you.." I silently whispered to myself.....Me and mute were about to find out.....
