Chapter 8- A deadly encounter

Later during the night I convinced my mom that I was spending a night at Mel's house since it was Friday anyway and Mel convinced his mom he was spending a night at my house. Me and Mel practiced our regular training session Aikido , Judo, taekwondo, and we were studying a new type jujutsu. Mel swiped at my feet to catch me off guard I jumped and in returned swung my leg over towards his face and he ducked.

"I'm doing a lot better bro I think you need to cut back on the subs." Mel grinned as he sprung off the table to elbow me in the face but I moved back, as he made contact with the floor I grabbed him by the shirt and slammed my knee into his stomach. He slowly exhaled downing jolts of pain, I shrugged "Or maybe you're just to cocky?" I chuckled as he rushed in and preformed a high kick to my head I used my forearm as a shield in return he went to punch, I moved out of the way but only to late to realize it was a fake he used his left leg and kicked me down. I sat up and sighed as I kicked him quickly in his leg.

"OW OW!" He shouted and the used both of my legs to power kick him into the table I got up and ducked from his swing, He kneed me I shifted while the jolt of pain spiked my side. I growled and grabbed his arm as I flipped him over my shoulder gravity pulling him back down into the ground. "Haha I literally judo flipped you!" I laughed and extended my hand out for him to grab, "yeah maybe bro but you got another thing to worry about." He pulled my arm to help him but quickly slammed his forehead into my nose I stumbled back a couple feet.

"JEEZ." I softly messaged my nose.

"HAHA bro it's a dominant thing."

"Bitch." I uttered.

"Pussy." He smiled.

Kat walked in holding her tablet "you boys rough housing again?" I chuckled still feeling the bridge of my nose "No were training isn't it obvious."

"Exactly and I'm winning." Mel smiled and cracked his knuckles.

"Well um while you guys were playing karate kids I found where miss Hines will be selling." She gave me the tablet I scanned, Mel peeked over my shoulder then at the tablet and grabbed his duffle bag. "That's in 10 minutes." he opened the bag slowly and pulled out his hat.  I nodded agreeing with him "he's right we gotta move out Kat get the bikes ready we'll go suite up."

As we soon arrived we could see her in the ally she seemed to be talking to a gentlemen. "1000 for a full service." She softly said leaning against the wall.

"What?! That's highway robbery the price was 500 why up it now that's not the usual!" He panicked as he searched his pockets frantically for more cash small coins fell out hitting the ground.
"Hey I'm putting my life on the line here baby so as the stakes are raised so is the price..." She perked her lips and a grin stretched across her face. I firmly gripped the mans shoulders once approaching from behind. He didn't bother turning "Hey wait your turn!" He kept searching. Mel coughed and spoke "Hey I think your times up pal..get out of here.." The man quickly turned shouting "HEY I SAID WAIT PAL CANT YOU HEA- " he paused as he looked us both up and down a slow gulp escaped his mouth.
" Haha...yes I was just leaving.." he marched away nervously leaving behind his spilled coins.

"Oh my..if it isn't the big bad X I thought you'd be dead by now..heh..tell you what baby..sense I have the hots for superhero's I'll cut it to 200.." she smirked I shivered in disgust "gross lady I don't want your services! I'm like -2 and you're like 67!" She gasped taking offense to my comment. "Well what are you here for I didn't do anything illegal ya know I've been clean for months now and selling my body isn't illegal unless they catch me with drugs.."

"Can it lady we don't care about your business we wanna know something.." Mel snapped at her she folded her arms.

"What is it then?" she leaned against the wall rolling her eyes.
