Later on that day I got cleaned and patched up I still had to go to school to many days out and I couldn't afford losing anymore credit, so like that I got dressed and basically limped to school. Emily stood home I didn't see her at all and frankly I couldn't blame her, Even though as everything wasn't perfect it felt somewhat normal. Kat ran up to me giving a tight squeeze my body still in pain I jumped back. "ARGH!"
"You scared me Jio you never came to HQ .. Wrecker said you were injured and everything." She said concerned
"I patched myself figured I give you the rest of the day off..Everything's better now Kat...Everything's over." I leaned against the wall holding my side as it was still stinging every now and then. Soon after I was in gym I sat out told coach I didn't feel well and I couldn't play he understood and sat me on the bleachers, I watched my classmates play on the soccer field throwing footballs around and having a good time.
"Your sitting out too?" A voice reached out to me as I looked up Nexhin stood next to me the sun beaming in my eyes but Noticed his face still looking like shit he slowly moved to the front of me now blocking the bright sun. "You feeling better?"
"Had better days.." I chuckled He gave a nod.
"That's the price about secrets ..they have the heaviest toll."
"Hmm?" I looked at him in confusion.
"You know at first it started with the bruises the..black eyes ..but I didn't believe it ..until the bus you came to stop me..it sounded like your voice.. your voice.." he continued as I stared at him my eyes squinting "what?.."
"It made me realized I made the mistake ..I killed the wrong person..." his head dropped as he looked away breaking eye contact.
"What are you saying ...Nexhin.." I slowly stood up
"I killed mel ...and in return the dragons ..gave me freedom..as long as I killed the Killer-X...I'm sorry j-" before Nexhin could finish I grabbed him by the shirt pulling him closer "I'm gonna KILL YO-"
"Not here...what are you gonna do..kill me infront of these people?..it's not gonna work out the way you want..please..You don't want to do this.." his eyes looking at me as he slowly removed my hands from his shirt,
"You're angry...I cant blame you for that..But whether you believe it or not...I am sorry..I'll see you around.." like that Nexhin slowly walked off a piece of me thought this was some prank some SICK nightmare and any minute I would wake up. But for the longest I stood there staring at the now empty space where Nexhin walked away tears rolling down my cheek as I wiped it away nearly falling back down to my seat, Nexhin was the man on the bus? I couldn't think straight multiple questions shooting through my head. My heart now in complete convection as I realized I Killed The Wrong Man..I Broke my Moral..and in the end I Killed the wrong man...Not only did I just kill him But I just declared War...on the dragons..But in the end that was the least of my worries all that continued running through my mind...
