Chapter 19- Mercy

I stood there in the ally rain heavily pouring mute beside me both of us injured from our fight. How were we going to pul this off? What the hell does she have?.. her heavily sinister grin began to reveal her teeth as she slowly inched closer to us. Her talon extending a bit further out I looked at her she let out a giggle. "You boys can make this easier, just come with me. No one needs to get hurt." She pauses in her tracks smiling. Letting out a scoff I slowly spoke "over my dead body..." her eyes lit up as she grinned one last time "ha...your lost." She began advancing towards us my body shivered I grabbed mute by his back cloak shoving him first. "Don't just stand there get her!" I let out nervously. My new ally quickly faced me in a frantic reaction just in time to turn to her, There he stood inches from her she quickly sliced at him using her talon but mute was quick on his feet sliding back as he swung his foot towards her but she ducked from under his kick sweeping her boot into his only defense leg knocking him off balance. Mute fell as she lounged into the air and tried stabbing down at him. I quickly cut her off by tackling her mid air we both dropped to the ground, I punched but she blocked jamming my knee into her side she lost grip this giving me a quick time to squeeze out but it wasn't fast enough, The girl retracted her talon back in and held me down by the throat I placed both hands on her wrist to try and pry her off but she was strong. With her free arm her she pulled back and another talon was released she went to stab but I used my elbow and slammed it into the hand choking me in time catching the talon from going into my face. Her face changed to a suprised state as I began force the talon away from my face but before she could react mute grabbed the female by her shoulder twirling her around and delivering a killer hook into her jaw. She was tossed off me slowly rising she felt her face mute extended his hand out and I took it helping me back up to my feet.
"Damn.."

Mute and I paused and faced the woman who's left cheek now slowly streamed out blood. The female giggled a bit as she felt across her open gash. She looked up at us she smirked "that actually hurt.." just like that her gash began to slowly close and heal itself my heart sank into my stomach was my mind playing tricks on me?! Her face was now completely clean I softly glanced at mute as we both got back into fighting position, how could I beat what can't really be hurt or wounded she giggled as she proceeded to extend her claws. But before we all could advance a body now cut up and wounded fell from off the building it was one of the dragons. Mute and I glanced up to see his partner and wrecker now both covered in blood  wrecker in a growling manner grinned sheathing both his katanas in their proper holsters. "WRECKER?! You alright??!" I called out. He smiled calling back down to me "Have more faith in me.." him and mutes partner glanced at each other giving a approved friendly nod as they stared back down at the woman. She stared at us then back at the boys on the roof now realizing she was outnumbered smirked and stared at mute blowing him a kiss.
Before like a animal she leaped wall to wall up through the ally. I didn't bother even trying to chase after her whatever she was.. she was coming back there was no doubt about that wrecker rested his hand on my shoulder and gave a nod "let's get what we came for.." like that we took off running for the gates not long after our new teammates joined in mute running aside me as we glanced both huffing and puffing we both nodded at each other continuing to run.

There it was the gates opened thunder crashing as we hid behind cover trucks slowly drove out wrecker looked at me. "I know a way in they got there own thing going on.." we both snuck around to the side to see a ladder I pulled out my bow and drew an arrow as wrecker released the katana from his waist, we got to the top scanning the area below us we could see more dragons on watch and guard patrol. Wrecker scanned the roof and spotted a glass hatch we peaked in to see nothing but men with weapons walking by in groups. "Just follow my lead." Wrecker whispered he pulled out his second katana now and stood on the glass hatch.

"You don't want a bow ...some distance between a katana and an arrow can make a BIG difference..." I said wrecker shook his head and spoke "these never leave my side Yūrei and Kage never disappoint neither...we always get the job done.." he smirked as he swung Yūrei the longest sword on his shoulder and kept kage by his side. He leaped up into the air and slammed his feet down towards the hatch smashing through the glass and down into the hall surrounding himself with nothing but enemies, Wrecker none the less waisted no time getting to work right then and there slicing and dicing through dragons. I soon joined him jumping down with him and shooting an arrow into one of the men's chest jumping onto another dragon wrapping my leg around his neck and flipping him down to the ground. Rolling myself back up I extended my baton and slammed it into the knee of yet another enemy, wrecker swung kage downward I moved from the hit as the blade opened a huge gash into the dragons stomach. Quickly I drew another arrow picking up my bow from the ground and shooting a dragon in the thigh I got up and claymore kicked him in the chest sending him flying threw the door opening it, as I drew another arrow two men started running down the hall now seeing the door open running towards me I shot the one on the left the man screamed as he held his side the other one releasing a katana from his waist and swinging at my stomach. I jumped and dove over the katana mid swing rolling back to my feet as wrecker stabbed the man in the leg with the katana then slammed his head into the mans face.
