Luke finally broke up with Aleisha.

The band was moving to London.

He told his mum everything that happened and I told my dad that Luke and I were together and the first thing they both asked was if we thought it was a smart decision. Luke said that he would try his best to keep in contact because I confessed that I needed help.

I showed my dad my scars.

I showed everyone.

I came out clean about what was going on in my head.

"I'll call as soon as I get there," Luke promised me as we stood next to each other at the aeroport.

"It's fine, honestly, just message me when you get settled, I don't mind," I lied.

Nothing was fine at all because Luke would be half a world away from me and I don't know how I could possibly handle it. Long distance was hard for anyone so what was stopping from Luke from dropping me or finding someone better? Not that I doubted him but we did have a very weak foundation to whatever our relationship was.

Something we never discussed was were we stood in terms of our relationship and usually I wouldn't really care but this was Luke. MY Luke. This boy was the one who controlled my heart and being so far away from him would suffocate me until I was near him again.

God, I'm pathetic.

We were quiet for the most part while everyone else eagerly chatted away the minutes until their flight was called.

"You think we'll make it?" Luke asked in a small voice.

I looked at him, "You're gonna make it big time."

"You think so?" He smiled at me.

I smiled back and nodded, "One day you'll be playing some huge stage and think to yourself "how did we end up here?'"

He snorted, "Sure."

"Have some faith in yourself," I nudged his shoulder with mine. "You guys are insanely talented and with the right help you'll be masters of the game."

A huge smile split across his face as he let it sink in, "What did I ever do to deserve you?"

"Nothing," I replied. "I wonder what the hell I did to deserve you."

Then we all heard it.

"Looks like it's time for us to go," Ashton said with a heavy sigh after their flight was called.

Everyone went into the routine of hugs and kisses, goodbyes and promises to call home frequently. I hugged all of the guys and said goodbye and we all took pictures together for the sake of our parents. I said goodbye to Luke last and he had no shame in kissing me in front of everyone.

"I'll call as soon as I get there," he whispered to me before he left.

I stood next to Ryon as we all watched them walk away, towards the plane that would take them to London.

Towards the biggest change ever.

I had to use the restroom before we left so I made a quick stop and told my dad that I would meet him at the car. I did my business and washed my hands before leaving the bathroom. I was walking past a sitting section when I spotted a familiar face.

"Michael?" I asked.

The blond man sitting there looked up at me and smiled, "Great job, Jai."

"What do you mean?" I asked, stopping in front of him.

Future Michael was casually sitting here in the aeroport and I was confused as hell as to why he was here. I thought he had already left.

He stood up and adjusted his black hoodie and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back tightly before pulling away and looking up at him confused. "I don't understand."

"It's gonna be hard for a bit but just know that you did it," he told me.

Realisation hit me, "I fixed it?"

"It won't seem like it but you and Luke are meant for each other," he confirmed. "Trust me, you'll learn to hate him as much as I do- in a loving way."

I smiled, "Thanks Michael."

"For what?" He asked.

"For saving me," I answered. "If you hadn't come back then none of this would've happened."

"Thank you for saying something," he replied. "I have to go now."

"Me too."

For some reason I was sad to see him go. He seemed to recognize my hesitation and gave me the brightest smile I had seen from him, "Everything worked out for everyone."

I nodded my head, "Bye Michael."

"Bye Jai."

I turned and started walking away before something compelled me to turn around. I saw Michael's blond hair disappear around a corner for probably the last time I would ever see him.

I practically ran the entire way out to the car and dad gave me a brief smile, "What took so long?"

"I got caught up thinking about what time Luke would be landing in London and the time difference," I answered.

Which wasn't an entire lie.

"I think you two have something special," he said. "Kind of like me and your papa."

For once it didn't hurt to hear him talk about Papa.
