*Bucky's POV*

We all whipped our heads around at the sound of Tony's voice, and we jumped up to see him.

He was leaning against the doorframe weakly, but his smirk was the same as usual. We ran up to him and I smiled, as Steve and Bruce patted him on the back, and the girls gave him light hugs.

"You're ok!" Cara said, grinning widely. Tony nodded.

"For the most part, I'm good. Just a little banged up and bruised." He replied, looking down at his arms, which were cut and bruised. But he was alive and walking on his own.

Which was a miracle, because just this morning, he was dead for one and half minutes.

"At least you're alright." Steve said, smiling at Tony, and Stark nodded.

After we talked some more we went back to the TV, and Tony quickly grabbed the remote. Before Sarah froze it again.

"GOD DAMN IT SARAH!" Tony shouted, glaring at Sarah, who was laughing. I laughed as well, when I saw the block of solid ice in Tony's hand. He dropped it after a while, because it was starting to freeze his hand. Sarah motioned to Cara and Cara used her mind powers, forcing the remote control to levitate to Sarah's outstretched hand.

"I told you you were never gonna win this battle." Sarah told Tony, sticking her tongue out childishly. He sneered at her and grumbled obscene things, totally pissed off that she was being so stubborn about this.

"Oh come on! I almost died and you still won't let me watch Doctor Who?!" Tony cried indignantly. Sarah nodded.

"Well, yeah. Just because you almost died doesn't mean you get to take over to the TV. I mean come on, Steve and Bucky have actually died!"

"Well just because you have magical ice powers like a popular Disney princess doesn't mean you get to control the TV!"

Sarah just blinked, holding up the block of ice / remote control.

"Um actually it does."

The whole time me and Steve had been covering our mouths, trying not to laugh, but it was getting really hard. We sat there cackling on the couch, watching the interesting conversation between Tony and Sarah.

"CAN WE PLEASE WATCH DOCTOR WHO?!" Tony screamed at Sarah, who just held up the frozen remote.

"No." She replied.

Tony started yelling again and me and Steve lost it, laughing our asses off at his cries.

Suddenly, the door shot open, revealing Peter and Clint. We looked at them in surprise, and Peter opened his mouth to speak.

"Crossbones is awake. Fury is bringing him in for questioning."

--

I had nearly forgotten about the fact that we had captured Crossbones, because he had been in a grave state when we imprisoned him. But now he was fine, due to the super soldier serum that healed him quickly, and was now ready to be questioned. We needed information now.

When we got down to the detainment room, made of solid Asgardian steel, Crossbones was already in there. Fury met us outside the bulletproof door.

"Alright, we need to question him on anything and everything he knows. I'm going to go in there with Steve as backup, and then we may try Cara, since she has her mind powers. Trust me, everyone will get a crack at this guy." He told us, and we nodded.

An agent led us to a room with a glass window that peered into the room containing Crossbones, and we stood there, hooked up to a mic that would relay what is said.

I watched as Fury and Steve opened the door and walked into the room with Crossbones.

Crossbones smiled creepily at the pair, trying to sit up but stopped when the chains holding him down tightened.

"Having some trouble?" Fury asked, taking a seat in the chair across from him. Cap sat down next to Fury, decked in his Captain America suit. His infamous shield was on his back.

Crossbones scowled.

"I don't take kindly to being chained to a chair, just so you know." He said in a rough, deep voice. Fury rolled his eyes.

"Then don't kill people."

"Loki will find you sooner or later, and he'll kill you when he does." Crossbones muttered, staring angrily at Fury. But Nick didn't react.

"He's already tried to kill us several times, and he has yet to succeed. All you super villains underestimate us, and then you sit here and wonder why we kicked your ass. We're not afraid of Loki." Fury told him, giving him a serious look. "Right now, we need answers, and you are going to give them to us."

Crossbones rolled his eyes, and Cap took over.

"Look, you bastard. You killed one of our teammates, you almost killed two others, you've tortured us and you've killed hundreds of innocent civilians. You're going to give us answers, or we're going to kill you." He spat. Captain America wasn't mean much; but this guy was the worst villain besides Loki that we had ever faced. And of course, Crossbones and Loki had teamed up, because why the hell not.

"I don't know what you want me to tell you. I don't know where Loki is, and I don't know what Hydra is currently doing." Crossbones said calmly. Steve took a deep breath, quelling his anger slightly. Fury just crossed his arms with an I'm-not-impressed-and-I-know-you-know-something face.

"Why is Hydra mutating humans?" Steve asked Crossbones.

"To kill you guys, obviously. Once you are out of the way, we can take over the world, a lot easier this time."

"How are you mutating them?" Steve asked next.

We already knew most of the answer to this question, but Steve was hoping Crossbones knew more, which he apparently did not.

"Doctors, drugs, victims. Really not that hard of a question." Crossbones replied sarcastically, looking eerily at the glass. He probably knew we were standing behind it.

"Where are these Hydra bases? Where you are mutating people?" Fury questioned, staring intently at the villain. Crossbones just shrugged.

"I don't know. As much as you would like to think otherwise, I don't run Hydra, therefore I don't know all of their secrets. If you want to question someone, go find Garrett or something."

I looked around at everyone in the room, frowning.

"Hey we haven't seen him in a long time. Where did he go? Did someone kill him at some point?" I asked the rest of the team, and they all frowned, glancing around and trying to think.

No one has any clue what happened to him, or where he is.

Fuck.

Cara stepped forward after a minute, taking a place next to me. She had a deep frown set on her face.

"I'm really not finding much in his mind. Not much that could help, anyway." She murmured, staring at the conversation taking place ahead of us. I frowned, sighing, because nothing was working right now. We weren't getting anywhere at all- just running in one place, dodging attacks, trying to learn things and completely failing.

When were we going to actually move forward?

When could I actually get my revenge?
