*Bucky's POV*
Twelve days since the kidnapping
"Hello, Avengers, long time no see. I believe we may have your friend here," the man said in the video. Our computers were completely taken over, and in the process of trying to get them back, Sarah had come up on the screen. She looked dirty and messy, but her eyes said she was fine. She actually looked fairly healthy and pretty strong, considering where she was.
"The experiments we have performed on her have certainly changed her entire body, and they were extremely painful. We had to break her wrist, arms and legs to test it. You should be very thankful that the healing serum worked, or your dear Sarah would certainly be in agony at the moment." He continued. I growled at the camera, wanting to jump through it and rip his throat out. Sarah looked intently at the camera, though, and she looked unafraid.
"Anyway, we would like to offer you a choice to save her. Our offer is simple. Give us back the Winter Soldier, and little miss princess here is free to go. If you trick us, however, we will make sure she feels the pain."
I thought. Could this be the way to ensure her safety? I caught her glance on screen, though, and I could almost hear her saying, 'Don't you fucking dare.' But if it was going to save her, then I'm sorry sweetheart. You're gonna have to deal with my choices.
"That's all I have for you for now. Until then, Sarah has some more torturing." He said evilly, smacking her across the face. I struggled to keep myself in check, to keep the rage running through my veins from bursting out.
"Hey did any of you see her arms?" Natasha asked, frowning. I turned towards her and shook my head. Stark immediately typed a few things into the computer, and the video went back a few seconds. He stopped it at a specific point.
Natasha pointed to the screen at Sarah's arms.
"There!" She said.
I narrowed my eyes, looking closer at the screen. I could make out a whiteish-blue pattern trailing up her arms.
"What is that?" I asked.
"Ice. They've given her ice powers." Natasha replied, and my eyes widened, imagining the amount of chemicals they put inside of her. I put my hands behind my head, focusing on controlling my rage. Come on Bucky, I thought. You can do this.
I shook my head and cleared my thoughts, walking away from the table and towards the group, where Fury had just decided to join us.
"Well, whoever they were were stupid enough to forget to cover up the coordinates of the camera, until halfway through the video. So we've got a location, and a minimal amount of time before they discover we know where they are." Fury announced, holding up a piece of paper with coordinates on it. Tony immediately put them into his suit, typing quickly, and frowned.
"She isn't at one of the Hydra bases around here." Stark said, looking up. He looked confused.
"Somehow she's in Ohio."
I frowned, glancing at Steve, who was also frowning. How in the hell did they get there?
"How did they get there?" Cara asked, and Tony shrugged, pressing buttons on the small computer that was on the arm of his suit.
"No idea. The U.S. Government reports nothing in the skies during that time, and anything on the ground would have left tracks." Stark added, completely perplexed.
I sighed, and looked up.
"Well, looks like we better get to Ohio before it's too late." I said. The others nodded, and Fury went to the cockpit to start us on our way. I walked around the plane, gathering guns and ammo to fight with, and making sure I wouldn't run out of weapons. I couldn't afford to lose this battle.
I stuffed knives into any strap or pocket on my suit, concealing each weapon well but making it easily accessible. Once I was ready for battle, I went to go find Steve.
When I found him he was leaning on a counter, his brow furrowed in deep thought. I joined him, also leaning against the counter, and he gave me a smile.
"Ready?" He asked, and I sighed.
"I guess. I'm just really scared about what could have been done to her since that video, you know? She appeared fine, besides the weird ice, but who knows what she has been through." I replied, gazing out the window as we neared the base. He also turned to look out the window.
"I know what you mean."
I pushed myself away form the counter, putting my hands behind my head, and began pacing to try and keep my emotions in check.
"What if she isn't the same?" I whispered, my voice cracking. I shook my head and kept pacing. Steve grabbed my arm and forced me to stop, before answering.
"That's something you'll have to live with. But she saved you from yourself, so if she has changed, you have to save her from herself. Whatever they did to her can certainly be undone, especially since the bond you two have could overcome anything." Steve told me, glancing over at me with a small smile, before finishing. "You two have a very powerful love, and you mean the world to her. Even if they wiped her memory, she will remember you."
I closed my eyes and smiled, before clapping Steve on the back.
"Thank you, Steve. I know it was hard on you when I didn't remember, but thank you so much for helping me anyway. You and Sarah saved my life." I said, and he put his arm around my neck and pulled me in for a brotherly hug.

*Sarah's POV*
I thought that after twelve days here, the worst pain had already been endured.
I was so wrong.
The second after Bitchface slapped me, he dragged the chair I was tied to out of the camera room and into a different room. In this room is where the pain started.
First, they gave me seventeen more unnecessary injections, all of which hurt like hell. After that my legs were broken again, testing to see if my bone healing properties had improved. Needless to say, my bone healing powers have not yet improved, and I was in agony again.
They then moved me to a new room. Upon entering this room, I was already terrified: because when I went in, they were carrying a dead man out. That should've been my first clue.
My second clue was when the man came in with a knife.
My third clue? Being cut all over my body to test how well I could heal skin. There simply are not enough words in the English language to describe the level of pain I was in. I laid in a pool of my own blood for what felt like hours, unable to move, before they began healing. But they still left scars.
I was in so much pain I considered ending it, just taking the guys knife and stabbing myself, but then I realized I had someone to live for. I couldn't let Bucky down- he was all I had.
So I didn't give Hydra the satisfaction of watching me cry, and instead thought of his name with each new pain.
They dug the knife into my thigh.
Bucky.
Into my hip.
Bucky.
Into my cheek.
Bucky.
I felt like the knife was cutting into my soul.
