*Bucky's POV*

I whipped my head around when I heard Sarah's scream, and ran full speed at Crossbones, who suddenly had escaped his cell and had her in a head lock.

The whole team pulled their weapons out in an instant, immediately eyeing Crossbones. The bastard just stood there with a sly grin.

"You know, Bucky, after she was kidnapped the first time, I really though you'd keep a closer eye on her." He bellowed, looking at me with contempt. I clenched my teeth so hard I was positive they would break, and I glanced quickly at Sarah. Her eyes flashed with anger and fear.

"I don't need to. Sarah can handle herself." I snarled. He laughed, pointing his dumb crossbow at Sarah's head.

"Really? Let's see, then."

I looked at her one more time, attempting to send her a message: use your powers.

The fear left her eyes and she seemed to receive my message. She brought her hands up to Crossbones' arm, that was around her neck, and pressed them against his skin.

Suddenly he cried out in pain, and he pulled away from Sarah, letting her go. I immediately lunged towards her and grabbed her hand, which was still freezing cold after she had pressed it against Crossbones. I wouldn't doubt that her hands had been at least -30 degrees when she touched him, and that's why he had screamed so loud, because something that cold can instantly destroy skin.

She grabbed my real arm tightly, and I yanked her quickly away from Crossbones. She stood up and leaned against my arm for a moment, clearly tired, and I glanced at her with concern just as Crossbones recovered.

"Are you ok?" I asked her, and she nodded tiredly.

"I'm just really worn out."

I nodded and let go of her arm, standing in front of her protectively. I pulled out my gun and glanced at Crossbones right as he shot an arrow at me.

I turned at the speed of light and pulled Sarah to the floor with me, as an arrow notched itself into the wall above our heads. We missed getting hit by inches.

When we turned back around, he was sprinting down the hall. I stood and sprinted after him, leaving Sarah alone for her own safety, because she couldn't keep up with me. She'd be safer with the team.

My feet pounded against the linoleum floor and I swung my arms faster and faster, gaining on Crossbones. He heard me running behind him and turned, grabbing an arrow and attempting to launch it at me unsuccessfully. I caught up to him quickly and lunged, grabbing his legs and forcing him down to the ground.

He slammed against the floor, hard, and groaned in pain as I grabbed his crossbow and chucked it across the room. Steve ran up and helped me pin Crossbones to the floor.

I saw red on the floor near his face, and I'm pretty sure the fall broke his jaw, as his mouth was bleeding pretty bad.

Good.

Crossbones struggled underneath of us, fighting to break free. But even though he was a super soldier, he had two other super soldiers on top of him, and a metal arm clamped down on his neck. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

The rest of the team gathered behind us, and Natasha pointed her gun at him.

"Crossbones, you are under arrest, again, and have the right to indefinitely shut the hell up." She sneered. He didn't react.

Tasha pulled out a pair of high tech handcuffs, and latched them on to his wrists. Sarah came over and froze the handcuffs, ensuring that he couldn't get out of them. Me and Steve hauled him to his feet, and Peter wrapped him up, in layers upon layers of webs.

Steve and I dragged him back to his previous cell, dropping him 'accidentally' on his face. He yelped in pain and we shut the door. Tony used the heat of his repulser beams to melt the iron door, bonding it to the wall, and locking crossbones in his tomb. Stark then turned and groaned loudly.

"How the HELL do they keep getting out?!" He yelled, frustrated. We all stayed silent, and the only thing you could hear was our loud gasps for breath. I looked over, suddenly noticing Sarah leaning against the wall, her eyes closed. She was so tired she was shaking.

I walked over to her, placing my hand on her shoulder. She jumped slightly and then relaxed when she saw me.

"It's alright, Sarah. Just hang in there." I told her, glancing at her icy blue eyes in concern. She nodded, breathing deeply, and stood up straight. I offered her my metal arm and she held on to it for support.

"Alright guys, we need to find Fury, but it's too dangerous to split up at this point. We have no clue if there are more Hydra agents here, and we aren't going to let them have the element of surprise." Cap ordered, making sure we all understood. "Everyone follow closely."

He crept along the side of the hallway, not making a sound, so he could listen for any noise someone else was making. We all followed, and we were so quiet that no one would ever guess we were here.

We walked for a while, dodging anyone we came across, but they were mostly S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. We didn't come across anything suspicious for a while, and I was about to call it quits.

But suddenly, we heard a voice in the hall adjacent to ours, and Cap gestured for all of us to get down and listen.

"Have you found them yet?" A voice hissed angrily. Someone shifted their feet, before reluctantly replying.

"No, sir. They are nowhe-"

"What do you mean no?! It's a group of giant superheroes! How in the hell can a group of trained agents not find them?" The first man whispered, obviously pissed off. A moment of silence passed before the second guy answered.

"I don't know, but we were unable to locate any of them. What is our next course of action?" He asked.

"You know the know the next course of action, colonel. Blow this place sky high."

I swallowed. They were going to blow the entire base up, and we still hadn't found Fury or Hill. This was not good.

"Shall I break Crossbones and Loki out first, sir?" The second man asked, and the first man replied quickly.

"Yes. Do it fast, we have seven minutes until this goes up in flames, so get your ass moving."

Sarah clenched my metal hand tight, and I held it back. I didn't know how much longer she could last. I then heard footsteps down the hall as the men left, going in the opposite direction of us, and the whole team looked at Cap. He looked back, thought for a moment, and then relayed orders.

"We need to find Fury and Hill and get the hell out of here. Don't worry about not being discovered- at this point, just don't get hurt, and get clear of the building in less than seven minutes, alright? If you locate one or both of them, signal to us all, and we'll get out." Steve announced, and we all nodded. I stood and pulled Sarah up next to me.

She was still shaking, and I knew that if we didn't find Fury and Hill fast, me and Sarah wouldn't be getting out of here.

With my metal arm I clicked the safety off my gun, holding it out in front of me and Sarah and I took off, attempting to locate Fury and Hill before all of us were dead.
