~Chapter Seven~The Break Through~

~Mephisto's pov~

'she looks frightend' I thought as I stroked her cheek with my gloveless hand.

what could she have been running from?

It had been almost midnight and she hadn't returned home yet. I grew worried you see, I didn't even know she had left earlier today.
I was so worried I thought somthing bad had happened. I mean, for all I know she could have gotten raped! and let me make this clear, the only one around here who's gonna be doing any raping is m-.

my thoughts were cut off by her stirring in her sleep. she cringed and even groaned a bit. I could sence that she was dreaming of somthing. somthing bad I presumed.

I turned to look at the clock to see that is was now almost four in the morning.

'Almost four hours she's been out cold.'

I stood there patiently, as I examined her body.

she had huge claw marks on her abdomen, what looked to be a bite mark near her shoulder, and slight burns on her hand and left arm.

her shirt was tattered. litterally i could pretty much see her whole bra standing out.

usually I would take the time and stare at somthing like this, but in the condition shes in, I couldn't dare.

her hair was a mess with leaves and a few tinny twigs in it. it was tangled.

her whole over all body was filthy.

I took another glance to her face, and gave a single, yet gental breef kiss to her stained fore head.

I then began to think of the research I had been doing lately.

i had wanted to know somethings about vampires.

They really are such a peculiar species.

There really wasn't much to read, considering there's such little known about them.

However, I did happen to read a few things that were quite intriguing, such as alter egos, undying thirst, lustful, undead, and aceptional use of sences.

I tried searching threw Violets room to seek answers about her life.

I didn't happen to find much, I did however stumble upon a Diary...sadly it was locked.

I just needed to know more about her. I needed to know her story.

I had been speaking with Rin the other day, and he 'accidentally' said a few things. somthing about vampires being exiled was it? and great power?

it was all so mind boggling.

I shook my head for probably the thousandth time while taking my top hat off and placing it gently on my night stand.

Oh and did I mention she was in my bed as well? things could take an interesting turn in events heh.

I got down on my knees and grasped her hand and layed my head down.

my heart felt so sick seeing her like this.

I began to study her face. how lovely it was.

The way her skin layed there elegantly and so smooth, like a baby's bottem. her lashes how they curled out evenly. The way her lips curved perfectly. nice and plump. her hair vibrant and bouncy. how her nose stood peacefully and perfectly.

Don't even get my started on her body.

I licked my lips, and began to examine the wound surrounding her toned stomach.
