Chapter 4

(Well here you go guys... Chapter 4, it took me a little longer than I planned to get it finished but I only got back sunday night from my competition... We came 13th out of 15... Im still really proud to be a part of the squad... but anyway as I was saying I pretty much wrote all of this in one night but I couldn't have done it without my sister abalaaa soo thank you so so so so much otherwise you guys would not be getting an upload tonight... As I would still have writers block anyhoo on to the next chapter... Enjoy!!)

Chapter 4

A week had passed and Lucy still hadn't told her brother about her date. She needed to tell him considering the date was tonight. She stood in front her brother's door and knocked "yeah" he shouted. Lucy placed her hand on the door handle and pushed the door open "hey Luke, can we talk?" she asked as she stepped inside her brother's room "sure what's up Luce" her brother asked as she sat on his bed "well, I have a date tonight" she said looking out the window her brother looked at her and smiled "do you need me to scare him, threaten him, be on standby" he stopped and stared at her "you've been home, what, 5 weeks and you have a date, who is it?" Lucy looked a little uneasy before sighing "Tyler" she said in barely a whisper

"Luce you're going to have to speak up because it sounded like you said Tyler" her brother stopped and stared at his sister "please tell me you did not just say Tyler" his voice had gone for chirpy to seriously pissed off "you are not going on a date with Tyler Jackson... I am putting my foot down" Lucy looked at her brother "you're putting your foot down... im sorry LUCAS but I am not a child, I am able to look after myself... I am going on this date if you approve or not" Lucy stormed out of her brother's room and into hers. Picking up her phone she rang the one person who was able to help her. Before Lucy could even explain why she was ringing her best friend answered "I will be over in 10".

As her friend promised she was over in 10 minutes. "what about this" Mia asked holding up a pale pink summer dress "you could pair this with white heels and a little clutch bag" Lucy looked at it "possibly, put it to the side" Mia looked through Lucy wardrobe one more time "how about this then" Mia pulled out a dark blue strapless dress which had a black belt across the middle, "pair it with a pair of black heels aanndd your black bag with the strap" Lucy looked at her best friend and smiled "perfect" taking the outfit from Mia, Lucy made her way over to her bathroom and got changed. Leaving her shoes off she walked over to her mirror "now for your hair I'm thinking soft curls" Lucy looked at her best friend and held a scared smile. Whilst her friend was good with a curling iron she wasn't the best person to trust with a hot object as the burn Lucy had 3 month ago showed "im not going to burn you this time" Lucy looked sceptical "I promise" Mia said holding her hands up.

After an hour of curling and make up and debating on outfits for the second time, Lucy was finally ready to go. She was stood in front of her mirror staring at the person looking back at her. "are you sure about this dress" she asked for the 3rd time, Mia groaned before collapsing on Lucy's bed "if you ask that one more time I will send you on this date in a potato sack" her best friend warned "speaking of the date, how did Luke take it?" Lucy turned round and sighed "I have no idea, he did his usual speech of 'scare him, threaten him, be on standby' but when I told him it was Tyler he flipped, he started acting like father instead of Luke, he even said 'im putting my foot down' I mean come on im 17 years old Mi" Mia looked at her best friend before getting off the bed "don't forget though, your brother knows him better than you, I mean Adrian isn't that fond of him either, he even had a temper tantrum after Luke told him, he sees you as family and doesn't want to see you hurt, from what Adrian told me he's a complete player" Lucy looked at her best friend and smiled "I know he is, it doesn't take a genius to know that... im just hoping that if I give him this one date that he will go away afterwards". Mia was about to reply but was cut off by the sound of the doorbell.
