Chapter 11

(Here we go, chapter 11... Now I know it's late going up but it's been a busy day and I've only just had time to sit down and edited before it goes up... However if you do find a mistake please let me know :)... Anyway on to the next chapter... Enjoy!!!)

Chapter 11

Mia and Eve were becoming increasingly worried about Lucy; everyone was but as soon as they tried to tell her that she wouldn't listen. They wanted to know that she was ok and that she was coping but the second they asked the questions 'are you ok' or 'how are you doing' she would blow up in their face. Luke was glad that is parent's business trip had been extended for a few more days because he and Lucy had done nothing but argue and fight for the past few days; however that was only when Luke saw Lucy. No-one had actually seen Lucy since her outburst on Monday and it was now Thursday. Everyone saw Lucy in class but they didn't get chance to speak to her because she would walk in seconds before the bell rang and she would bolt out of class the second it rang.

Mia and Eve had a free period and were walking around school trying to find Lucy but they were having no luck "where the hell is she" Mia said rather annoyed. She had known Lucy all her life and she had never known her do anything like this. She understood why she was acting the way she was but she was annoyed that she wasn't allowing anybody to help her. "I don't know. We've looked everywhere I can think, there isn't that many hiding places in the school" Eve said as she ran her hand through her hair "I mean there isn't anywhere else she could hide. We've tried the library, the field, the sports hall, the dance studio and the auditorium. I can't think of anywhere else" she continued.

The girls were about to walk around the corner which would lead them to the hall that housed their lockers but they were stopped in their tracks with what they heard next "I heard that the reason she is acting all crazy is because she is pregnant" there was a moments silence before someone else spoke "are you on about Lucy Jones" the whole incident with Lucy and Tyler was still quite hot gossip in the school and no matter how much Mia shouted at people to try and stop them talking about it they still continued the second they were out the way "yeah I heard Caitlin say that she's, like, gone loco because of being pregos with Tyler's child" Eve looked at Mia and sighed. They rounded the corner and saw two girls out of Eve's Spanish class "Joanna, Chrissy" Eve said with a hit of patronisation in her voice. The girls looked round "hi Eve" they said smiling at her, Eve tilted her head a little "sorry to interrupt but what did you just say about Lucy" she asked as sweetly as she could. The girl called Joanna looked at her and her jaw nearly hit the floor "do you mean you don't know" she asked in a state of shock "know what" Mia interjected. Chrissy looked at her in shock "oh my god, you seriously, like, don't know. I though Lucy was, like, your bestest friend" she said annoyingly popping her gum half way through "like, we heard Caitlin telling someone that she was, like, pregnant" she said again. Mia let out a little laugh "she's not, you can trust us" Mia said trying not to lose it. It was bad enough what Tyler was doing but Lucy didn't need Caitlin spreading stuff like that around. Even if it was true.

Joanna was about to speak again but Mia cut her off "listen, whatever Caitlin is saying it's gossip, ok? Just gossip, so don't listen to her" and with that Mia walked away. Eve ran after her friend, when she did catch up with her she began walking next to her "so what do we do now? I mean if Caitlin knows then no doubt the whole school will by lunch" Eve said quietly trying to not to draw attention. Mia stopped and looked at her with an almost evil grin on her face "oh we're going to find Caitlin" was all she said before she walked off. Eve had known the girls long enough to know that when Mia had that look on her face then it meant trouble was just around the corner.

Lucy was currently sat in the library away from everyone. She couldn't face running into Tyler, not after Monday so she had spent all her free time hiding away from everyone. She was currently hidden away from sight, happily reading her book when she heard someone mention her name. Looking up from her book Lucy looked around and between the shelves she could see people over in the next aisle "I mean if Tyler finished me, I'd be mad to but did you see the outburst she had on Monday? She gone insane" some girl said, Lucy vaguely recognised her voice from one of her classes, "I know, she just screamed at Mia, I thought they were best friend... you don't think it was Mia who gave Tyler the bet do you" someone else asked. Lucy sat there shaking her head "oh my god! That would be an excellent reason for why Lucy blew up in her face but didn't she say she didn't know who gave him the bet" another voice chimed in. Lucy was tried to keep in cool but she knew she needed to get out of there before she blow again. Not wanting to hear any more Lucy start throwing her stuff into her bag before standing up and making her way out of the library.
