Chapter 6

(well here you go guys, its a really long chapter as i got a little carried away when typing but i hope you enjoy)

Before Lucy could even realize it was the end of October; eventually everyone at Riverbank had gotten use to Tyler and Lucy dating. Even Lucas had warmed up to the idea of his sister dating him and after a month most of the girls stopped harassing Lucy. Things were going well with school, Lucy's grades had pretty much remained the same from when she was at Chilton and her dancing exam was around the corner. The girls became good friends with Eve and since the first day of senior year the girls were always together. As Mia had put it the Dynamic Duo had become the Tremendous Trio.

The girls were currently stood in the stands of the soccer field whilst the boys were in the middle of a match. Each girl knew the game was important but none of them knew why, all they knew was that the guys needed to win this match. "So if the team wins this match, this guy in the year above us will no doubt throw a huge party. It happens every time they win" Eve explained to Mia and Lucy "as much as I want them to win; I don't have the energy to go to a party. Not after today's dance class" Mia said as she watched Adrian kicking the ball down the field "I know, me either. I get that our dance exam is soon but Miss Romanov is driving us harder than she has every driven us" Lucy said as she hugged her arms around her, although they lived in Florida it could get cold, especially on a night. Eve looked at her two new friends "aww but come on, you need to experience a Riverbank High School party" Eve looked away "but I'm tired Eve" Lucy whined, eve looked at her and shook her head "no, if they win you are going to the party. Plus it's close to Halloween so it will be Halloween themed. It gives us a chance to dress up" Lucy and Mia looked at Eve about to protest but they were cut off when the crowd started screaming and the loud bellowing of "yeah, go on dude" for some guy stood behind them.

The girls looked over to the field and saw Charlie, Eve's boyfriend, running around the pitch in a celebratory way, whilst some of the other guys dived on him, having clearly just scored a goal. This put the Tigers ahead by 3 points to 2. There was 30 seconds left until the end of the match and everyone was on the edge of their seats as the apposing team was putting up a good fight in trying to get a drawing point. The girls cheered when the whistle was blown signaling the end of the match "and that is the end of the game ladies and gentleman" a student announced over the commentary system "The winning team is Riverbank High School Tigers" he continued, the whole of student body of Riverbank High erupted into cheers. The girls made their way down to the pitch to congratulate the guys. When they reached the pitch, Eve ran off "well down babe" she said as she jumped on Charlie "thank you sweetheart" he said as he wrapped his arms around her "eww, I don't think so you're all sweaty" she said as she pulled away from his grip. Lucy looked at her brother and smiled before hugging him "I don't understand why this is so important to win but WELL DONE" she shouted the end of the sentence, Lucas looked at her and laughed "thank you little sis" Lucy glared at her brother and then pulled away to go congratulate Tyler.

Tyler and Sam where walking down the field "so how's the bet going" Sam asked, Tyler looked at his best friend and smirked "it's going good, she doesn't suspect a thing" Tyler looked up at Lucy and saw that she was stood with her brother, Adrian, Charlie, Mia and Eve. "she still thinks I'm a player who is trying to change his ways but serious dude, how do guys put up with all this lovey dovey crap" Sam laughed "I know, why have just the one girl when you can have a few on the go" Tyler laughed and looked back to Lucy to see that she was walking over to them, quickly changing the conversation so that Lucy didn't hear "hey dancer" he said putting a smile on his face "congratulations guys" she said as she cuddled Tyler. Tyler wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug, he still had to pretend to be a caring boyfriend "thanks dancer" he smiled as he gave her a quick kiss. Lucy pulled out of his hold and smiled "you're all sweaty" she stated "you going to McIntosh's party" Sam asked her, Lucy looked at Sam "yeah, I'm getting dragged along by Eve but I'm not really in the party mode" she said as the three of them made their way over to the others. Tyler looked at her "what's up" he asked her and he took her hand in his "it's nothing bad, Miss Romanov just worked us really hard at dance today". Even though Tyler knew it was only a bet he still knew how important dancing was to Lucy, so he knew what it must be like for her to be preparing for her dance exam.
