Chapter 7

Tris POV

Tobias has been very out of it today. I always catch him giving me these weird constipated looks, and that tells me he's having a mental conversation with himself. It's actually kind of funny watching his facial expressions.

Right now I'm on his shoulders and he's racing to our apartment. I've already given up on trying to escape his grip, it just won't happen. When we finally arrive he sets me down carefully and unlocks the door. We walk in and I plop myself on the couch. Home sweet home.

Tobias comes over to me and wraps me in his arms. We lay together for who knows how long until darkness takes over and I fade into a deep sleep.

*time lapse*

"Tris." I hear Tobias whisper. "Tris." I hear again. I groan.

"Whaaaat." I reply not opening my eyes.

"Wake up." He says.

"Im awake." I whisper back.

"No i mean open your eyes." He says, i can almost see the glare on his face. Even with my eyes closed. I giggle to myself.

"Pleaaase." He begs.

"Ummmm..." I say keeping my eyes closed.

"Please? C'mon Trissy poo." He says. I immediately open my eyes and send him a death glare.

"Don't push it." I growl. He chuckles and takes me hand pulling me up. I glance over at the alarm clock. 2:46 A.M.

"Tobias! Its 2 A.M! Can't this wait?!" I say groaning and rubbing my eyes.

"No it cannot." He says smiling.

"Ugh." I say slipping on my boots. When i get up he takes my hand and walks fast. We walk out of dauntless and i feel the cool air hit my face. He starts leading me towards the train tracks.

"Tobias!!" I whine. He looks at me and smirks.

"Oh please, just wait till you see what i'm about to do." He says looking out for the train.

"Take me home?" I ask. He shakes his head and i slump my shoulders. I love Tobias, i really do, but honestly i am so tired, i'm sure this is something stupid that CAN wait until tomorrow but he just chooses not to wait. He starts to jog when we see the train approach. I follow behind using all the energy i have left in me. Tobias jumps inside and grabs my arm pulling me inside.

"Where are we going?" I ask. He smirks.

"Now if i told you, wouldn't be much of a surprise would it?" He says. I roll my eyes and we go to sit in the corner of the train cart. He slings an arm around my shoulders pulling me closer to him. Then he whispers in my ear,

"Sleep, you'll need it trust me." He says and winks. I lean my head on his shoulders and close my eyes. Whatever he's planning had better be life changing or else I'm gonna strangle him for making me jump on a speeding train at 2 A.M.

Ok this is gonna be the last update until you guys leave any ideas because that was my last idea. Im out. Although i do where they're headed and i bet you guys can figure out what Tobias is gonna do...😏 anyway please leave ideas i need help😭
