Chapter 29

Tris POV

I slip into my dress and look into the body length mirror. My dress is a white, strapless, mermaid style dress with a long veil and matching earrings. Christina brought me to Candor to buy this because Dauntless only has black dresses.

"Oh em gee! You look BEAUTEOUS!" Christina squeals. For once I actually think I agree.

For makeup, I have a little eyeshadow, a couple coats of mascara, some eyeliner, foundation, and a hint of light pink lipstick. My hair is curled and rests on my shoulders.

"Agreed." Shauna and Marlene say at the same time. Since they are my bridesmaids they are wearing black strapless dresses that flow down to their knees. Their hair is curled as well and is in a side ponytail.

"You guys look great." I say smiling.

"Alright guys one last hug before Tris becomes Mrs...... Um, Tris what's Four's last name?" Christina asks. Shauna and Marlene look at me and I am speechless.

"Well, its-uh, oooh look at the time, lets go!" I say biting my lip. Christina gives me a look that tells me she's not convinced but I don't want to be the one to tell Christina i'm about to marry Tobias Eaton, the first person to ever leave Abnegation for Dauntless.

We walk down the halls and towards the chasm to the wedding ceremony. There we meet Lynn and a few other random ladies to help us out. We also meet Will, Uriah and Zeke.

"Hey Zeke aren't you supposed to be standing next to Four?" I ask slightly confused.

"Oh shi- lets go Shauna!" Zeke says grabbing Shauna's hand and running down the isle. I catch a glimpse of Tobias and see him glaring at his idiot friend. I also noticed Tobias looks really good in a suit.

I take another peek around the corner and see Caleb. I almost tear up at the sight of him. From what I can see he is sitting next to Cara, and has a baby in his arms. I stare in disbelief, and my mind is constantly asking who's baby is that? To the other side of the room, my mother sits in a chair next to Marcus. Wait a second, MARCUS?! Where is my father and why is Marcus here! I start to panic.

"Alright girls, it's time." A lady with purple hair and a nose ring, says, she's one of the ladies Christina hired to help I assume.

Then the music starts and Christina and Will walk out. Then Marlene and Uriah. Lynn decided not to walk down the isle because she says it's too girly for her, so it's my turn now. I take a deep breathe and I'm about to start walking when I hear,

"Beatrice!" I turn and see my father walking towards me. I walk as fast as I can to him and pull him into a hug.

"I'm sorry Beatrice." He whispers.

"It's okay Dad." I say smiling as I pull back.

"I'm here to walk you down the isle." He says putting his arm out.

"Really?" I ask excitedly.

"Really." He says smiling.

I take his arm with one hand, and hold my flowers in the other. I see Tobias standing at the alter smiling at me. And I smile back, ignoring all the problems that ever happened.

I feel like my writing skill are getting worse😱 AHH HELP😭
