We tried to continue living normally, not allowing whatever this thing hunting Dean was to stop us from having some fun.
Dean and I continued to go in for our shifts at the bakery, Sam continued school, and Luke, Mason, Peter, Aaron, and Michael kept hunting.
Sam and I returned to the shooting range often, and he helped me work on my aim.
Dean and I finally convinced Sammy to ask Charlotte out on a date, and after a few dates, he told us he really liked her.
"She's amazing," he gushed, smiling. "I can't believe it took me so long to ask her out, I mean, God, she's incredible."
Dean laughed, and I sent him a warning glance, trying to tell him to not make fun of his little brother. Dean smiled at me, nodding.
"So there's no problems?" Dean asked.
"There might be one. If you'd consider it a problem."
"And that is?"
"She wants to double date," Sam said, looking at me. "With the two of you."
"Why is that a problem?" Dean asked.
Sam shrugged. "That's not really your thing."
"Neither is being in a relationship, but here I am." Dean smiled at me before putting his arm around me, pulling me closer to him. He gave my lips a quick peck before turning back to look at Sam.
"Would you guys be interested?"
Dean looked at me, waiting for me to answer. Before I could stop myself, I said, "Are you kidding? Hell yes I'm interested. I've been around so many guys for so long I almost forgot other girls exist."
Sam laughed before looking at Dean. "You in?"
Dean looked at me before saying, "Yeah, I guess I am."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sam called Charlotte and asked if she had plans that night. When she said she didn't, he quickly changed that, and our double date was scheduled for that night.
I excused myself shortly after the plans were set, leaving Sam and Dean downstairs to go upstairs and shower. When I got out, I dried my hair before plugging in my curling iron and proceeding to curl my hair. When I was finished, I did my make up and then put my hair up in a loose bun. I had about thirty minutes to kill, so I went back downstairs, planning on watching part of an episode of the third season of American Horror Story.
Half way down the stairs, my phone started viberating. I pulled it out of my back pocket, opening the text from Michael.
"You will NEVER guess what I found!" he had sent with three crying-from-laughter emojis.
I sighed, unsure if I was prepared for whatever it was he was talking about. "What?"
I was in the kitchen by then, getting myself a glass of water. As I took the first drink from my cup, Michael texted me back. The only thing he had sent me was a link, without any context. Hesitantly, I clicked on the link. It took me to an online reading sight. The book he had sent me the link to was titled, 'Supernatual' by Carver Edlund. Looking closely, I saw there were multiple books. I clicked on the description, and was amazed that it appeared to be Dean and Sam's lives as hunters.
Confused, I texted Michael back. "What the hell?"
"Ask them. I gotta go, talk to you later!"
