SAM'S P.O.V.

"Dude, no."

"Come on! We're so close, why don't we just kill the bastard now?"

"Maybe because it can definitely kill us before we could even think of killing it?"

Dean rolled his eyes. "Come on, Sammy."

"How's Marilyn going to feel when she finds out you went into this blindly? Or when you don't come back?"

That made him stop. He glared at me, but didn't argue anymore. "Fine. But I'm meeting it in that alley tomorrow."

I rolled my eyes. "Don't be so sure. We need to plan this out carefully."

"No. No more planning. It's coming after her!"

"We don't know that for sure." I knew the words were lies, but I was trying hard to hide it from him. He loved her, and I did, too, just not in the same way he did. I would go just as far as Dean would to keep her safe.

"That's a risk I'm not willing to take."

"Fine, okay. You want to kill this thing? I'm all for it. But if you go in blind, it's going to out smart you. It's going to be able to out smart you anyway, so you might as well have a plan. We'll work it out tonight, and maybe we can go tomorrow."

"There's no 'we' in this. I'm going in alone."

"Hell no you're not."

"Sam-"

"You've left me out of plenty of sitautions where I would've been helpful. That's not happening again."

He grumbled under his breath, but I knew he knew I was right. "Come on," I said. "We've been gone just under an hour, I think we've worried her enough."

MARILYN'S P.O.V.

For sixty four minutes, I paced around the house, trying to calm myself down enough to talk to Luke and Mason about what was going on.

"Marilyn," Luke called, coming down the stairs. "You need to calm down."

"Don't tell me to calm down right now, Luke." I snapped, still pacing.

Luke ignored my request.

"Calm down," he said again. "They'll be back soon."

"You don't know that."

He sighed, running his hands through his hair. "Marilyn-"

The front door opened, and Luke and I immediately made our way to the front door. The Winchester brothers entered the house with angry expressions, and I knew they had been- or still were- in a fight. At the moment, I didn't care, and ran to both of them, wrapping an arm around each of them.

"She's been freaking out the entire time." Luke informed them. Sam pulled away and went into the living room, and I heard him begin to fill in Mason on what had happened. I couldn't hear much, though, because as soon as Sam pulled away, Dean pulled me closer to him, and I buried my face in his chest.

"You're never doing that to me again." I mumbled against him.

He chuckled. "We'll see about that."

I ignored him, tightening my grip around him. He pulled away from me gently before kissing my forehead, which tempted me into standing on my toes to press my lips to his.

After a few seconds, Luke cleared his throat, and Dean pulled away from me, glaring at Luke. He put his arm around me, leading me into the living room, where Sam seemed to have filled Mason in completely.

"There's no way you could've taken it today." Mason laughed, looking at Dean as we entered the room.

Dean glared at him. "Bite me."

Mason winked. Dean sat on the couch across from him, waiting for me to sit next to him. I shook my head.

"I don't feel good." I said, honestly. Since Sam and Dean had left, I had a horrible feeling in my stomach, that hadn't eased, even after they returned.

"You're not going to be alone tonight." Dean said, his voice coming out harsh.

"Fine," I said, not surprised by his words. I still didn't sit on the couch though, which made Dean sigh.

"Marilyn, I-"

In about one whole second, I saw a bright light, and felt myself have my legs get swept out from under me, and I landed on a hard bench. Castiel was in front of me, an urgent look on his face. We were in the gray room again.

"Castiel? What's going on?"

"One of your friends is not to be trusted," he said, his voice less gruff than normal. "One of your friends is not to be trusted. One of your friends is not to be trusted. One of your friends is not to be trusted." he repeated the phrase over and over, until I was tired of hearing it, and covered my ears with my hands, hoping to block out the words.

I could still hear them, though, and shut my eyes, hoping I'd leave wherever he had taken me.

"Stop it!" I screamed. "Stop it, stop it, stop it!"

I felt two hands pulling my wrists away from my ear, and slowly opened my eyes. When I saw Mason in front of me, I stopped resisting, and let him pull my hands away from my ears. We were in my room, and I had no idea how we had gotten up here, but I didn't ask.

"Are you okay?" Mason asked me, a concerned look on my face.

I looked around the room slowly before nodding slowly. "I... think...?" I said slowly.

He nodded. "I'll tell Dean you're going to sleep and to come up, okay?"

I nodded again.
