Castiel and I continued to walk arm in arm to the garden. At least I assumed we were going to the garden. Cas hadn't said much.

As we walked, I continued to wonder about all the things there were in Heaven that I couldn't see, and I wondered if one day I would get to explore it all. By the way Castiel looked at me from the corner of his eye, I could tell he knew what I was thinking, but he didn't say anything.

After a while, Sam began calling my name.

"Marilyn!" he said excitedly. "Marilyn, you'll never believe what happened with Charlotte!"

I shut my eyes, trying to make his voice go away. It was fake, I knew that. His voice faded away, and I let my guard fall slowly.

About ten minutes later, his voice came back, only this time, he was right next to me, smiling. "Want to go to the shooting range later? Dean has to work, so it'd just be us. Is that okay?"

I did my best to ignore it, looking straight ahead.

"Marilyn?" he asked when I said nothing. "Are you okay?"

I sighed. "You're not real."

"What? Of course I am."

"No, you aren't. Now go away."

A hurt look crossed his face. "But-"

"I said go away!" I shouted.

Castiel stopped walking, looking at me curiously. "Are you alright?"

Now he chose to ask?

"I can see Sam," I said, looking at the projection of Sam in front of me. "Can't you?"

"No." Castiel said, and then stood in front of me. After a flash of light, he turned around. "Is he gone?"

I nodded. "He is."

Castiel gave me an awkward smile before offering me his arm again. I took it, linking my arm with his.

We walked in silence after that. After a while, I decided to break the silence. "Why couldn't you see it?"

"The angels want to make it harder for me to dispose of the projections. I only know where they are when you speak up, but not before."

I nodded, but stayed quiet.

As we continued to walk, I began to get the feeling that someone was watching us. I brushed it off, I mean, we were in Heaven. Maybe angels were watching us, or souls. But the feeling became more eerie the further we got.

Eventually, I started to see small, quick movements, zooming around us. My eyes tried to follow them, but they were too fast, and I quickly got a headache.

"Can we stop for a sec?" I asked Castiel, praying he'd say yes.

"I suppose. Are you alright?"

I nodded, rubbing the sides of my forehead. "I just got a headache."

"Are you seeing anything else?"

I looked around. Whatever was running around was gone. "No."

"Good."

I continued to rub my head, trying to shake the headache. After a while, I sat down, and a few minutes after that, Castiel joined me.

"Hey, Cas?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you. For... all this."

He nodded in response.

I sighed, putting my head in my hands, the headache almost gone. A few moments later, I heard the zipping of someone- or something- running around. I didn't look up, scared of getting another bad headache.
