And so the hunters- including Sam- decided on the plan, and decided to carry it out that night. I didn't try to stop them, even though I felt like I should, especially after what Castiel had told me. But it had seemed like he had also told Dean, so anything I said would be ignored.

Aaron and Michael came over after they all agreed on a plan. Peter came about an hour later, saying he was talking to other hunters and asking for back-up.

As the day came to a close, the rain was coming down even harder than it had been in the morning. I was worried about how it would affect the plan they had created, and Mason and Luke seemed to be worried, too, but the hunters ignored our concerns, only focusing on how they were going to carry out the plan. Sam wouldn't let us hear it, worried that we would interfere with it.

Around nine p.m., Sam took us to Peter's house.

"This is stupid," Luke mumbled from the back seat of Dean's impala.

"What?" Sam asked, looking at him through the rearview mirror.

"This. You're not going to let Mason or me help when you know we can."

Sam gave him a sympathetic smile. "Sorry, but you're just going to have to sit this one out." He looked at me quickly before looking back at the road. "Besides, you guys have to look after Marilyn."

"I'm sure she can handle herself." Mason said icily.

Sam sighed. "I'm sorry, guys. I guess they just don't think you're ready for something like this." Sam said as we parked in front of Peter's.

Mason got out of the car as soon as it stopped, slamming the door behind him, making Luke flinch. We watched Mason storm into the house, obviously pissed off by what Sam had said.

"I'm sorry," Luke sighed, sounding embarrassed by his Mason's actions. "I'll go talk to him." Luke got out of the car and gently shut the door before following his best friend inside.

"You didn't have to say that, you know." I said to my own best friend after a short silence.

"What was I supposed to say?" Sam asked me.

"I don't know, anything but that?" I rolled my eyes.

"I'm being honest. Marilyn. I think that's the best thing for everyone right now."

"Oh really?"

"Yes, really!"

"So then why aren't you being honest with me? And Luke? And Mason?"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"We're the only three that don't know the plan."

"So? You don't need to know the plan."

"Even frickin' Peter knows the plan!" I snapped, my voice getting louder.

"So?" Sam repeated in an irritated tone.

"Are you serious? You know he's involved with this-"

"No, I don't. He's been nothing but helpful, I have no reason to believe he's against us."

I groaned, unbuckling my seat belt. "Whatever, Sam." I opened my door and tried to climb out, but Sam reached over me and closed my door.

"Okay, fine," Sam said. "I'm not telling you our plan, because I swore I wouldn't. Cas and Dean said you'd end up guilting me into telling you, so I can't let that happen."

"So then what do you have to say?"

"I just- I want you to know Dean will be safe."

"Okay," I sighed. "But he's not the only one I'm worried about."
