// I don't wanna be your friend I wanna kiss your neck //

After a few hours of wandering around the city being typical tourists with my class, I decided I would make my way back to the hotel to start getting ready for my "date" and call Matty while I walked. After a few rings he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Tris, what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call to?"

"Well I have my date with Ross in like an hour and a half and I'm nervous and don't know what to wear and stuff so I was hoping you could swing by my hotel."

"I suppose I can fit that in my oh so busy schedule. I'll be there in ten."

"Bye Matty."

"Bye Tris."

Well, that took no persuasion whatsoever. If I was going to be completely honest, I would rather be going on that date with Matty, but I knew that I would never forgive myself if I didn't give Ross and I one last chance.

I got to the hotel quickly, and waited for Matty to arrive. A few minutes later, I heard a knock on my door and I opened it up to see a slightly cheery Matty. I gave him a quick hug then invited him in.

"If I'm going to be able to give you a valid opinion, I'll have to at least know where this date is taking place." Matty stated.

"I honestly have no idea, it's supposed to be a surprise. But he told me to dress fancy." I replied.

"Well, let's start with what you're wearing then work our way up from there, okay love?" He said.

I nodded.

I pulled out three different dresses from my suitcase, one was a black form fitting plain dress, one was a red once again tight flashy one, and the last was a black and white striped skater dress.

"Which one do you like Matty?" I asked.

"Who do you think I am, a stylist? You have to try them on for me to be able to judge that." He said with a chuckle.

"Okay okay, I'll try them on, but you can't look while I'm changing."

After I slipped the black and white dress on, we decided it was too casual. Then the black one, which Matty complained was "too revealing".

As I took off the black dress and began putting the red one on, I realized the zipper was stuck.

"Mattyyyyy will you please zip up the back of my dress." I whined.

"Sure thing."

"Thanks Matty."

As he began zipping up the dress, he began to chuckle.

"This ones already my favorite. Cute bra by the way."

I had forgotten that I was wearing my rainbow bra. It was literally just a bra with a rainbow pattern on it. There might've been a few unicorns too.

I looked at myself in the mirror, unsure of what I thought of it. I searched Matty's face for an opinion but he just sat there with his mouth wide open.

"Are you just gonna sit there and stare?" I said.

"Sorry I just.. You look.. Stunning." He said.

"Do you really like it?" I questioned.

"I like it so much." He stood up and came towards me. "If you were on this date with me, I wouldn't be able to resist doing this." He began kissing my neck. "Or this." He brushed my hair out of my face. "Or most of all, this." I felt his lips crashing on mine, and I swear it felt like every nerve ending in my body had just exploded. I had never felt this magnetic pull when I had kissed Ross. Fuck. Ross. That was the guy I was supposed to be going on a date with. Breaking out from the haziness that kiss had put my mind in, I slowly opened my eyes and pulled away.

"Matty, you know I can't. Not now." I said with frustration.

"Tris, you kissed me back, doesn't that say enough about your feelings for Ross?"

"But you don't understand, I can't just do that to him, I have to give him one last chance."

"There's only so many chances you can give to someone. I know you feel something for me, and clearly it's much more powerful then whatever you think you feel with him. You belong with me."

"Matty you just don't understand. I just need to go on this one last date."

"Well maybe I don't want you going on a date with someone else, maybe I have feelings for you and that would hurt me like hell."

"That's not your decision to make though, it's mine. I've never even said I felt the same for you."

"Fine. Tell me that kiss meant nothing to you. Tell me it didn't make every single part of you feel like we belong together. Tell me that, and I'll believe you."

"I...I can't honestly say that.." I muttered.

"Well, your mind is clearly set on going on this dumb fucking date so I'll tell you what. As much as I would rather slam my head against this wall repeatedly then let you go on a date with another guy, I'll make you a deal. You can go and I won't get mad at you or anything, but as soon as you realize you have no feelings for him, you call me right away and I'll come get you, from wherever you are."
