Stars littered all over the sky,
Shining and twinkling upon you and I.
I stare out of this plane's small window,
Wondering if I can show this beautiful show,
Of stars shining bright like your smile.
I saw Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, Dancing with grace and glamour.
Just like what we did that one night,
And now nostalgia is hitting me with the sight.
I shouldn't be reminiscing what happened that night,
And I'm trying to do what's right,
By giving up the fight,
Even though there is no battle for you and I.
I'm 40,000 feet above air and yet i'm still reminiscing,
The moments I spent with you I'm not even missing.
I'm just remembering the old days,
Where everything is as bright as the sun's rays.
But now I am faced with darkness and the twinkling of the stars,
no longer fighting for something that isn't ours.
But stars are like you and I,
the feelings felt are destined to die.
