Firsts

"What're we doing here?" Luke groans as he rubs his eyes. It was 3 in the morning. 3 days had gone by since the, as we call it, 'Scare in the Simulation'.
"Well, after the 'incident' with Amber," Mark says. "I have reason to believe that there is a spy among us. Which means that I expect all of you to tell me anything that you think is suspicious,"
"I have something suspect," Chantel announces.
"Then by all means, Chantel, please tell us,"
"The fact that you called us at 3 in the morning!"
"You all will also be going undercover tonight. I have assigned partners and shifts so we don't have any suspiciousness,"
"Amber," Ashton coughs into his arm.
"I'm sorry that I'm still working a full time job to pay rent," I sarcastically say.
"Sorry!" Ashton wines.
"Amy, Fatima and Chantel, you two will be patrolling Magic Kingdom from 10:30 to 4:30. Then Luke and Garth will patrol MGM-"
"Hollywood Studios," Garth corrects.
"Whatever, from 4:35to 6:35. Which leaves Amber and Ashton to patrol Animal Kingdom from 6:40 to 8:30. All of you will be patrolling Epcot tonight at 9. Copy that?"
"Copy. What do we do in the meantime?" Fatima asks.
"Research. I need you guys to blend in, I don't wanna detect you in the parks, I need everything to look real," Mark says.
"Wait- who's that?" Garth asks as he points to a girl with deep black wavy hair and emerald eyes.
"This is Candy, she's a new recruit,"
"How come she's not apart of this mission?"
"She's going to be on the late night mission,"
"Great," I nod as I start to step away.
"Oh! Hey Amber, can I ask you a question?" Ashton asks.
"Yeah sure, shoot me,"
"So, hanging out with you these past few days has been really very- nice and amazing, and I was wondering-"
"Get to work!" Mark yells.

"Where have you been?" Estella asks when I arrive backstage.
"Visiting family. They wanted to 'Talk about my life choices' or something,"
"Haven't we all gotten that talk from our families?" Austin asks.
"Comes with the Disney contract," Estella comments.
"Hey, did you hear that some people got arrested on Disney property a few days ago?" Austin asks.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah, a group of unknown people found them. I think they were the family of that little boy you saved," Austin says.
"Wow! That's crazy! You think you know a family,"
"Crazy, right?"
"And the craziest part, the people who caught them haven't come forward or anything!" Estella says.
"Well, some people still like their privacy," I comment.
"Yeah, But imagine being known as the people who saved Disney! Must be crazy!" Austin adds.
"I'm sure it hasn't really crossed their minds,"
"Oh well, we better get working," Estella sighs. I skip into the boat like usual and wait for opening. I watch the fireworks go up to signify that the gates were opened. Show time.
"Excuse me Skipper Amber," A familiar voice says. Ashton!
"Yes young man,"
"I believe I made a promise that I would ride your boat,"
"Indeed you did," I nod. "How'd you get in here?" I whisper in his ear.
"Mark needed someone to deliver this," He whispers as he hands me a black box. I open it to reveal an ear piece.
"What's this?" I ask.
"An ear phone. It lets us page you, and let's us talk to you when we need to,"
"Copy," I say as I put it in my ear and it says, 'Power On'
"Is it on?"
"Yes," I nod as I put my hat over my ear to hide it.
"Perfect," I say.
"I've gotta go to work first show in an hour,"
"Break a leg," I whisper as he vanished into the cast exit.
"Bye,"
