shellshock and shadowy rain
Shellshock and shadowy rain,
That's what this feeling that consumes me felt like,
My heart was turning grey,
And every nerve in my body was in shock.
The pain that dwells near my heart,
Is unbearable.
And maybe,
Just maybe,
I could learn how to flip the switch.
And not feel anything at all.
