to my parents
Thank you for everything that you have done for me but honestly, you don't even know me like you think you do. I am more broken than you think I am, I've just learned how to hide it. Why would I hide it from y'all though? The answer to that is simple, I didn't want to put y'all through so much in trying to get me help. Or it was that uncertain thought in the back of my head that tells me that you wouldn't believe me. Because your perfect daughter can't be depressed or have anxiety issues, now can she? I've hinted several times but when you asked "why" I could never find the correct way of explaining it. Maybe that's why I rather cover up my pain, just to see you guys happy because that's what matters most. So when I break, that's when you will know how much pain I've been through all these years.
