when I face death
I was the only thing keeping you alive,
Funny thing is that I wanted to die.
To fly up in the clouds,
Yet my body would be buried 6 feet under the ground.
I would die from everything but you,
But nothing was stopping me from cutting the cord,
I wasn't scared,
But I wasn't eager to end everything though,
I just knew,
When I face death,
That I wouldn't be scared.
Instead, I would smile at him,
And greet him as an old friend.
